“This was my first time here, and boy, was it an experience. I walked in with a question before I was seated. I asked if they have tap-to-pay because I lost my card. They said yes and sat me down in the 3rd booth. I looked at the menu, and about a minute from sitting down, the waitress greeted me and asked what I would like to drink. I knew I wanted a beer, so I ordered a Saporro. She brought the drink in a bottle, took one sip, and said, 'I need a mug.' So, I asked for a mug when she brought me some water. She brought a cold mug, and I was ready to order. I ordered a Salmon, Yellowtail, and Veggie roll from the lunch specials menu. I love trying rainbow rolls from different restaurants to see how they differ. I was about 2 pages into the book I brought when they gave me my sushi on a cute plate.
I would say little, but it was a big plate. I open my chopsticks, get about a teaspoon of wasabi, and put it in the sauce dish. I then poured the low-sodium soy sauce on top. I eat the salmon and yellowtail since they are close to me, but I am also saving the best for last. While I am eating the veggie roll, the server checks on me. The veggie roll surprised me; I liked it, but I didn't expect to find a leafy type vegetable in there. I ate the rainbow roll last. It was delicious. I think the crab was a little overpowering, but that is the difference between this one and the previous ones I've tried. Near the end of my last roll, I finished my beer and requested another, but a different type, Asahi. I sat there, drank my beer, and read about 4 pages when the male server or owner brought me a little square coffee cake. I was so happy; I took a bite before taking a picture of it. Two chapters read, and the beer was gone. And only a tiny square of the coffee cake was left. Ate it, swallowed it, reveled in the taste. I got up, paid, used the bathroom, which was clean, and I liked the leaf picture, and then left.
Yes, the food and drinks were great. The atmosphere was clean, interesting to look at, and accompanied by nice music, making it great. The service was excellent; the men and women serving were very attentive, and they provided excellent customer service.

“Hunan Garden on N. Prospect in Gladstone is fantastic. Their food is delicious and plentiful and the price is great.
On a side note, the lady that runs it is the sister of the lady that runs the Boba place next door (also great). Last winter they were the only ones open for pickup. While waiting on my order I mentioned that it was impossible to get salt and our front steps were iced over. She went next door and got us a small bag of salt. They are wonderful people!!!“

I love their chicken, and their green beans are so damn good that I forget how much I hated green beans as a kid. Like... I HATED green beans.

Drive through only. I appreciate that. This is probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The orange chicken is top notch. The chicken is good quality, no gristle pieces that usually come in Chinese food. The rice is so flavorful, it's even a yellowish color like it's cooked in something. My new favorite spot.“

“Ordered the Tso’s Chicken with fried rice. The Tso’s chicken was phenomenal. Huge portion of chicken, crispy, and the sauce was perfect. My photo is actually after I had already eaten. Could easily make 3 meals + out of the order. The fried rice was very good, just wish it had more vegetables and egg.. it was mostly just rice. Overall great food - will definitely order again!“

Maybe the lower quality was because they were trying to use up food because they are closed tomorrow? We ordered general's chicken chicken lo mein and egg rolls. The egg rolls were obviously reheated in the microwave and so chewy that we could not even invite them. The chicken lo mein was awful. I guess the low main part was okay but the chicken tasted like chicken that had been in someone's refrigerator for three or four days and been reheated. Because we have had good prior experiences I will try to order here again but maybe not on a sunday?“

Parking: Getting a parking space is easy backing out and driving to the street is a little more difficult when parking lot is full“

My only thing was it was the tenderloin style pork, and I prefer the regular sliced/strip meat. The portion size was very good, enough for at least 2 or 3 meals. They cook the pork differently, giving the rice a altogether improved flavor. I went basic with the chicken wings and they are to die for. This place is a hidden gem.“

“This place has the best crab rangoons I’ve had anywhere around KC and I grew up at Lotawana where we had some great Chinese food options in south Blue Springs. I recommend their veggie Moo Shu (extra pancakes)!

The staff is very diverse and the table service design is both modern and classic. Very classy and inclusive, I have confidence that the kitchen is sanitary and consistently in order. The restaurant is almost 6 miles away from me but they deliver to us. Must try if you live in the northland and want some food delivered or take a small group out to eat!

P.S. they have Springfield Cashew Chicken!“

“I don't know how this place has a 2.4 rating. 4 of us went in. Got 2 orders on sesame, a order of general tsao and garlic chicken. Everything was freshly made really quick. Hot and fresh with insane flavors. The garlic chicken fell apart as I was eating it was so tender“

When anyone comes to visit, we always get this place and everyone is impressed how good it is.
