“Recently being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes looking for a healthier way of eating and still being able to eat something sweet I tried Kats for the first time last week on Friday I went back on Monday and they were closed found out they aren't open on Monday and Tuesday I will be there Wednesday at 10am unbelieving if how good they are can't wait to try all of there deserts.“

“Would enjoy more vegetarian items on the menu. Dessert Souffles are great for Monday nights. I would also enjoy a savory souffle. The souffles might arrive faster if we had mentioned that when we reserved. However, we did order them the moment that we were seated. The wait staff seems to always be different people rather than loyal staffers.“

“I was very pleased with my first visit today. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and a bubbly attitude. The vibe is cute and gives "little cottage". I had the Midwest and it was so yummy and filling. I also tried the Lemon Muffin and it was also tasty. I will be back!“

“This place has the best sausages hands down in the city. The ribs are so much better than Gates or Jack Stack at half the price. The only place in town I go for smoked meats. Try the jalapeño cheddarwürst and beef hotdogs. You never had it this good!“

“Our dinner was very good. I got a beef brisket sandwich and fries. They have great cheesy corn, and potatoes are also good. We also got a fried mushroom appetizer, which was yummy. Our waitress was very attentive and got our refills right away also. They were super busy as it was a Friday night, but she was still great! The portions are really big. I ate that night, had leftovers for lunch the next day, and still didn't finish all of the food. Wish I could remember our waitresses name. It was her first night there but she was doing great!“

“The dining area was more than pleasant with a waiting area for entertainment... I played chess while waiting on my order to be filled ?. The quality of the burger was a higher grade than choice... meaning not having a lot of connective tissue and/or sinew in the meat...compared to most local burger joints. Moreover, l find that Unk Burgers high quality service is more than enough for me to frequent this establishment and explore the other menu choices ?.“

“I live in MD, and there are a myriad of gluten-free offerings and bakeries. None compare to Morgana's. Soft, melt in your mouth, croissants and delicious, feathery light donuts. If you like it, she has it. Run, don't walk, beefier it's gone.“

“I've been going here for 20+ years (their old location in midtown) and it never disappoints. Chili pepper wontons always a must order item. Ants on a tree and the braised pork and shiitake noodle soup are two of my favorites. China moon is also a great appetizer to start off the meal the plum sauce on the side is so good.“

“Hubby and I stopped for pizza this week at Dewey's. Great crust! Plus you get to watch the guys "throwing the dough." We ordered it our way: sausage, mushrooms, & carmelized onions, with red sauce (you can choose white or pesto, too) . We liked it just fine, I would have preferred an Italian sausage, crumbled, not sliced. And more of each topping. But it was fine. The inside of the restaurant was so nice. Lots of space and a bar you can sit at. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.“

“Not sure what the theme for this restaurant was, but I had the impossible burger, and I was deeply impressed. I have been a beef eater, all my life. This burger was amazing. Would recommend trying it if you were curious. The staff was amazing, I can't remember the waitress name now, it was one of those 'like this city name but without the last letter's people. She did amazing.“

“Went to this restaurant on a recommendation. Since it was Sunday it was breakfast only. That's fine since I was in the mood for breakfast. Water was served in glass bottles where you pour more for yourself, which I like because you never know when the waiter will be back around to refill. Decided on the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash browns. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed the music playing in the background. Kind of reminds me of the music that's played at an aerobics studio. Helps you wake up and feel energized. I was happy with the amount of food that I had. Country fried steak wasn't too big nor to little. Enough to get you full but not to the point of going back to bed. I liked what I saw on the menu. Interesting twists on some classic breakfast items. However I would like to see some simple classics on the menu. Some folks just like good old eggs and bacon with a cup of coffee. The only other issue I have is the restroom. Men's side is in need of some cleaning. Markings all over the stall and diaper change table, the blow dry fan having a nasty brown stain on the wall. Best way to avoid that is to install a stainless steel plate in the wall. Makes it way easier to clean. Overall a good visit. But please get the restroom cleaned up.“

“Great food, went a couple of weekends ago, Easter weekend. Food was great, We had a family plate and that is for sure the way to go. We got to sample lots of different things. My Hubby said the Burnt ends were the BEST. If you are a burnt end fan these are worth the drive.“

“Mary's Mountain Cookies has a huge variety of different types of cookies. They had options that I have not seen at other cookie shops. The staff were inviting and gave us different recommendations. I had the chocolate and peanut butter cookie. The cookie was flat and bigger than my hand! I would recommend to those who are looking for fun and different cookie options!“

“These were excellent. I bought way too much and we still ate everything. Bundtinis were fantastic during football games. I bought two boxes and left the frosting off of one. I made vegan roasting for those but people ate yeast half without frosting because they were great either way. I followed the reviews on flavors.“

“We are on a cross-country trip and a friend suggested we try Brobeck’s. It was so good! I had short ribs with Mac-n-cheese and green beans. My husband had a sliced brisket sandwich with a salad. “Small local business with friendly staff. There is no indoor seating, so we ended up taking our sandwiches to a nearby park, which on a nice day, works. For $22, we got 2 drinks, 2 good sized sandwiches, 2 chips and 2 desserts (cookie or donuts). Definitely a good value! The sandwiches were solid. Fresh ingredients and made well.“

Our server, a seasoned lady was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL and these youngsters should take serving, respect, kindness and knowledge classes from her. “I tried Laura Little's Candies and found the consistency of their fudge to be smooth and creamy, and dense enough to satisfy my fudge craving. I especially loved the chocolate marshmallow, plain and chocolate/peanut butter fudge. I normally wouldn't stray from chocolate but fell in love with their maple penuche which was a delightful flavor addition to my chocolate box, they had dozens of other flavors. And I ordered their chocolate pretzels. These were some of the best chocolate pretzels I've tasted. The milk, dark and white chocolate pretzels were large and thickly covered with chocolate and had a nice snap and crunch. These had the perfect ratio of chocolate to pretzel. Delicious!“

“I've been to this location about 60 times, and never had a day where I'd rate them less than 4/5, the closest were the 2 times they didn't leave off the green onions that I can't stand hah. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and efficient and the store always looks good.Such a variety of food, too!“

“Not sure why I haven't eaten here in all the years I've worked at Sprint Campus and lived in the area but some coworkers and I decided to go for lunch here the other day and I cannot wait to go back. We got there around 11:45 to beat the rush. There was some disruptive construction in the parking lot when we first arrived but fortunately they went on their lunch break at noon. We took in the yummy looking desserts and put in our orders at the counter. I got the pick 2 with a chicken salad sandwich and the signature salad. I also picked up one of their famous cranberry orange cookies. My two colleagues ended up getting the prepared pick 2 lunch boxes. I was a little worried since they had to make mine fresh and that I'd be waiting while my colleagues ate but my food came out from the kitchen as they were just unwrapping all their lunch parts. I'm a freak for chicken salad and this one was one of the best ones I've had in ages. And the focaccia was still warm. My colleagues were saying that they wished the focaccia in their sandwiches were warm, but the boxes came straight from the cooler. The salad was also super tasty. And the portion was PERFECT for lunch. My colleagues' boxed lunches came with a sandwich, salad and a small sugar cookie. They really enjoyed theirs too. And now to the cookie, which I took with for an afternoon snack. HOLY COW! It was incredible. So citrusy and a beautiful texture. I also love that they use fresh cranberries, rather than craisins. Adds a lovely juicy texture to the already soft cookie. Can't recommend enough! For folks who haven't gone, there's maybe 10 tables and only 2 for more than 4 people so keep that in mind if you are looking to dine in.“

“Great little place with a long history in KC. I met a friend there for happy hour at 3 o'clock. We wanted to meet somewhere quiet for an informal business meeting, and he chose here. I enjoyed my specially priced margaritas he enjoyed a nice white wine. The food was ok. We only had appetizers. But I need to return for a meal. The sushi is particularly noteworthy, and I highly recommend the Volcano Sushi Roll and the Wildcat Sushi Roll. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is pleasant. While I typically prefer to visit during Happy Hour, I recently had dinner there and was equally pleased with the experience. “Needed a tasty burger, they delivered! STEAKHOUSE wagyu burger, white cheddar, garlic & thyme mushrooms, arugula, garlic & herb aioli, BRGR potato bun. Tots are so crispy you hear the crunch deep in your ears on practically every bite! The dipping sauce that comes with it is very tasty as well Burgers are now (seemingly) more smashed than years ago, still very tasty. Now that the weather (march 2024) is getting better, there is limited patio seating. Service - at the bar was good Ambiance - pure burger bar and I recall it can get very loud when a large crowd Fri/Sat nights. There's also Fish and Chips and a hot dog/chili dog on the menu, and chicken if you aren't craving tasty maybe wagyu burgers.“
