“The Hawthorne Inn is one of the best restaurants just outside of the St. Louis area. My boyfriend and I make the drive out from St. Charles, MO. The service is always exceptional, and the food is absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. Their house salad is one of my favorites. The prices for the quality and portion sizes are very reasonable as well. Perfect place for dates, special occasions, or any occasion at all, as their menu offers a wide variety from soups & salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and various dinner entrees.“

My waitress was so nice and I tried her recommendation of the bread pudding and it was delicious! This is a great place to host parties or gatherings for events and I was informed there is no room rental fee for their large room where they can also set up a buffet for your guests.“

“This location has really made a huge turnaround lately. The food is consistently excellent and fresh. The fries are now made with tallow and it makes a huge difference in taste and quality. The employees are all nice and friendly and it’s clean inside. We have made it our ‘go-to’ spot for dinner!“
