“This was my first time ordering a professionally designed cake for my birthday. Melissa did not disappoint! I gave her inspiration designs and she did a fabulous job. The end result was spectacular. I ordered a chocolate cake with a raspberry mousse filling. It was absolutely delicious! The cake stayed moist for days and the raspberry mousse tasted like I was eating real raspberries. I would 100% recommend For the Love of Cake STL to make your next cake for any event.“

“When I needed a cake for an impromptu party I decided only 12 days ahead on, I picked up the phone and called Sweet Spot Cake Shoppe and reached out to Donna. I had a kinda, round about idea of what I was after, but honestly I just wanted 1/4 sheet 1/2 chocolate 1/2 white with LIGHT icing and I wanted the USMC Globe and Anchor logo and a RR track around the perimeter. Her FIRST ATTEMPT (that's right 1st) was a Grand Slam. This cake is for a Vietnam Combat Veteran Marine and I wanted it perfect. SSCS blew my expectations out of the water. In fact, I'd say came in about 20-25% less than the same at the big chain bakeries, not to mention it was one fresh, perfect cake, nothing misspelled or 3" of frosting on top of some dried out 4 day old cake that was mass produced. Made to order and more affordable! 5 stars across the board! Thanks for making the party complete!“

They not only were able to make it in the time I needed by also designed it by using a picture I found and the wording I wanted. This is the most beautiful cake I have ever ordered and it tasted even better. This cake turned out so much better than I had imagined and it was so delicious! “I am visiting a friend from out of town and we stopped by to see what sort of sweet treats we wanted to have at home. This beautiful shop is full of an abundance of tempting treats for those looking for special desserts/snacks/treats for any occasion. We ended up grabbing some cake pops, pineapple upside-down cake, gooey butter cake, and chocolate-covered Oreos. The gooey-butter cake was absolutely amazing—gooey, sweet, rich and decadent! If you love this cake, grab a piece for yourself. I have had one of the cake-pops (milk-chocolate covered banana cake), and it was absolutely delicious! The chocolate had a nice crack to it and the banana cake was moist and had a nice, strong natural banana flavor. The pineapple upside down cake (sold in individual large squares) was moist, covered with a nice crunch of crystallized sugar with a cherry on top, and was just amazing. Also highly recommend! Haven’t tried the other items, but will report back when I do. There are also crunchy dog treats for your fur baby available for sale, which we are saving for our next visit with friends who have a dog. This place is full of gorgeous wedding cakes, as well as cupcakes, the latter of which we will need to review after we return at a later date to try them. There is a reason this shop won the 4th season of The Next Great Baker…you need to visit and see for yourself. Highly recommend this fantastic bakery!!“

“Have you ever tasted something and immediately thought, "what is this sorcery?!?" That was my niece and I when we tasted the banana cream pie cookie from Twisted Sugar. It's creamy and rich, but not too sweet. The perfect bite. The lemon was good, but the banana cream was the star! Now I'm excited to try more flavors.“

“Above and beyond! I contacted someone from this bakery through messenger. I was trying to pull off a surprise donut delivery for my husband and his work crew. She always messaged me right back and was fully on board with my idea. I also asked her if she sold balloons, but she did not.....however, she offered to go pick up a few balloons for me to go with the donut delivery. Like seriously, what an AMAZING gesture. We live pretty far away from this bakery, but he works nearby, which is why I originally decided to look further into their business. Their reviews were awesome, so I decided to give them a try. I am so impressed with the level of customer service and how she went ABOVE AND BEYOND for this order. It is almost impossible to find great service like this anymore. Also, my husband and his crew said the donuts were DELICIOUS and everyone was asking where they were from. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!?“

“Our first visit to Nothing Bundt Cakes was excellent! I treated the kids to the 12 Bundtinis and they loved them! The staff was friendly and the store was very clean and so pretty! The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive. My family and I will most definitely be trying again and again and again!!“

“This place is AMAZING!!!! 12/10!! The treats and desserts are so carefully thought out and created. I have never had a bite of anything I didn’t like. I order for multiple holidays a year and the owner is always very willing to work with me and my requests! She has the cutest paint your own cookies for my kids that they love! The pecan bars are one of my all-time favorites! The perfect amount of gooey stickiness that they should be with the perfect combination of crust. Another personal favorite is the pop tarts when they are made, WOW! The owner also does cookie decorating classes around the holidays that are so much fun for families or even a girls night out.I highly recommend Crushed Sugar and look forward to seeing them this year at the LSL market!“

“PJ's Coffee on Highway K in O'Fallon serves food that is absolutely delicious, in a pleasant atmosphere, with friendly employees whose work ethic and knowledge of their products is excellent. My wife and I stopped by for coffee and beignets (mostly for the beignets for me) and we're thrilled that we finally are aware of a local (close by) place that serves these New Orleans delicacies...mmmm are they good! We will visit more often now that we had such a great experience today! We encourage you to give them a try - breakfast sandwiches, scones, and much more!“

“My daughter and I met some friends at this location on December 29th. This was the second time we have been, but the first as a walk in. The other time had been during a birthday party, which was fun as well. The ladies working this day were very friendly and helpful. The lady who gave us instructions was very informative and great at communicating what we needed to do. I do not remember her name, but she did have glasses on. They had all the tools we needed to decorate all of our treats, cupcakes and cookies. Gloves came in handy for sure! My only suggestion is to possibly have a way to rinse out the decorating tips, as most of them got used more than once. It took lots of time to try and get out the previous color before being able to move on to the next color. Also, paper towels would've helped with lots of things during our decorating process as well. I was given them, after asking for some. I can definitely appreciate a place where you can go have a good time with family, and not have to worry about cleaning up afterwards! Thank you for providing this cool place, and for taking care of the mess afterwards! We will be back!“
