“I ordered 4 meatloaf lunch specials today, let me tell you, these portions are huge! I am partial to my Momma's meatloaf but, this was absolutely amazing! Mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, and the best green beans that I have ever had! Amazing prices, amazing food, and the best Strawberry-Rhubarb pie that I have ever had! There isn't any better out there! Amazing experience!“
“Had a wonderful time with wonderful food. The service was great. This was a gift from my daughter and her husband for my retirement. It is a fancier, pricier place, but who doesn’t want to do that once in a while for a special evening out. Go and enjoy a relaxed night out on the town.“

What waiter pours 3 guys bottled beers into a frosty glass? Maz does! Total understanding of menu, ingredients and recommendations! Highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Maz! “My companion and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience! We started with the escargot in mushroom caps which were absolute perfection. I had the beef tips with mushrooms and they were also cooked to perfection! My companion had a prime sirloin steak that was absolutely huge and he ate the whole thing because he said it was so good! We both had the twice baked potatoes which Charcoal House has always been famous for and they were delicious! The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. We both agreed that we had not had such a lovely dining experience in a long time.“
“Meech brightened up our night. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Texas Roadhouse on date night and we are so glad we got sat in Meech’s section. This particular Friday night they were slammed but Meech went out of his way to connect with my boyfriend and really made his night after a long day. “A very fast food atmosphere. They've always done a different type of service where the waitress takes your order and then food carriers bring the food to the table. Not particularly a fan of that. Beautiful salad but the meat was a little stringy. Waitress was a little snippy when we ask for to go boxes. We placed a to-go order and ask for our bill. The food came long before the bill. They have a tip schedule that is based on the whole bill instead of the pretax amount. And it starts at 18%. Just my own personal peeves.“

“We've passed this place several times and for my birthday, I figured we'd give it a try.The place is exactly the aesthetic I was hoping for, a lodge/inn look, with great lighting and simple decor. It's not something others may care about, but for me, it sets a great mood. And this place delivers on that for me.I was told they had a tomahawk ribeye steak on special, and I couldn't resist ordering it (admittedly, without asking the price), my wife ordered the filet.I don't want to complain too much, especially since we didn't bring it up to our server, but we both ordered the steaks medium-rare, and what we both received was medium to medium-well... a significant temperature difference. Especially for those cuts. That was disappointing, but we stopped 'complaining' about overcooked steaks a long time ago; too many horror stories.But, the flavor was outstanding, seasoned flawlessly, my only nitpick on the tomahawk (besides being overcooked) was the rosemary garnish, it should have been left off the dish unless you love to eat those needles. That is pretty much culinary school 101, don't plate something that can't or shouldn't be eaten.The staff was great with everything else, including bringing me a cupcake with a candle on it and wishing me a 'Happy Birthday'.For the price, I expected much better preparation of the steaks, but the place itself, the service/staff, and the overall flavor of everything were very very good.It's a birthday dinner I'll not forget (in a good way).“
“We ended up waiting for a hour & a half because they mixed me up with someone who also had my name.. so highly suggest telling them your first and last name, because we waited double what we were supposed to. The food and service is why I’m giving this 5 starts. Angie our server was an absolute showstopper. She crushed it and completely turned our experience around. She was very thorough and consistently checked in on us to make sure everything was correct and tasted good. She was absolutely awesome & we will be returning just because of her!! Hopefully we can even request her, keep up the good work Angie it didn’t go unnoticed and you made our evening!!“
“Service was good, not great. The young lady was courteous. My steak was good, but the cut of meat I chose wasn't what I wanted. I asked for it to be cooked medium. It was cooked to a perfect medium. Everything else I had was excellent. Broccoli was great. Baked potato was great. My srrawberry margarita long pour was excellent. The bread was warm. Their ranch dressing was tasty. Decoration was unique and fits the setting well.“
