“I really enjoyed my afternoon/evening here. It's grungy, painted black, inside and outside bars, tables on the patio and bar stools at the bar inside. There are so many video games that I used to play. Basketball and skee ball and tabletop games. The only downside was not having a barstool to sit on while playing games.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“Perfect neighborhood bar with a pool table inside and patio seating outside. The side winder fries are on my list of favorites in this city. Live music was good and at the right volume to still visit with friends.“
“First visit in at least 5 years and if anything, it has only improved. It has always been my favorite venue in STL. I love that the entire space is all ages if it's an all ages show now! Great experience bringing my 10 year old to see the Aquabats for her first concert.“

“As a person with Celiac visiting your town I felt so welcome and safe- and it was a huge treat to eat an entire plate of yummy fried goodness that was safely prepared for someone like me. But the awesomeness didn’t stop there- the friendly bartender shared more Celiac safe local hotspots with us as well!“

“This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. Highly recommend, especially if you are into pinball and punk rock“

“I stumbled upon this gem on Halloween and it has easy become me and my friends favorite spot to unwind and enjoy a nice cocktail. The Passport is relaxing, family ran , and very intimate, the music is 10/10, the drinks are handcrafted by some amazing Bartenders who knowledgeable and friendly, it’s a must try! I definitely know you won’t be disappointed!“

“Over the past three years I have frequented this bar, and I have to say it’s one of the hidden gems of our city. Stan’s is a slice of south city and has cemented itself as an iconic establishment. No two nights are the same, but you feel at home when you walk through the door. Love this place. The staff are top shelf.“

“It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place for you. If you don't mind sitting on bar height stools then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are extremely tiny after you get into the stall... So it's not big girlfriend friendly.
I just don't think this was the place for us but by the amount of people that were there it is definitely the place for a lot of other people!

“We came here with our Boston fan group to watch the Celtics for their title clinching game and had a great experience. The staff was super accommodating and the food was great. We look forward to mixing Ice & Fuel into our game watch rotation in the future!“

“I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“I’ve been coming to grizzly bear for years with friends and family. I love the atmosphere inside and outside. The historical building is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was mine and my sisters bartender and she was so sweet and attentive. Absolutely love her! 10/10 definitely recommend. The wings are delicious and I love playing darts in the front room. Never a dull moment at the grizzly bear.“

“When I say this place is a vibe.... baby it hits every time. Very very hard to get a waitress or a drink from the bar...I had to wait until others were at the table with me, as I didn't want to lose the table. I sat for over an hour watching all these other people get served... food it outstanding tho!!“

It’s laid back during the day, and a little more live at night. Very clean and cozy. This is my new favorite spot.“

“A great little Irish Pub. Bar tender is always friendly and fun! The crowd is diverse as well as the music. Taking turns and everyone pitching in it makes for a wonderful evening. Darts, pool tables, and even a little spot to slip of and dance if you'd like. Clean bathrooms!“
