“I have ordered through grubhub. Chicken was good as usual & they even gave me a bigger wing this time with my order. Last time the wing was too small to charge a price for a whole piece of chicken. The chicken was still hot & fresh when delivered, which is always is. The fries were cold. This time they even added requested condiments, hot sauce & ketchup which is hard to get in delivery orders but it should be automatic. Their chicken has been very good lately & even delivered in a good time.“

“We had such a great experience at Hodaks and will definitely be back! Our food was great. The service was quick and very friendly. We had two babies with us and multiple staff stopped to wave at them and make silly faces making us feel very welcome. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was spotless. Highly recommend!“

“Just went to Chuck's on South Kingshighway (old Courtesy Diner) near Tower Grove Park. So glad they are there. What great food and service. Had 3pc tenders (Level 3) and Chicken Sandwich (Level 2). Both were great; good flavor, crunchy breading, and juicy. I prefer my chicken on the spicier side, so I'd go with Level 3 from now on. Pickles added great flavor and crunch. They have other higher levels of heat, as well as a Zero Level for those that just want great fried chicken. Also had the seasoned fries, which were hot and crispy; green beans (very good and typical southern style with bacon and onions); and slaw which we also really enjoyed. Finally the service was fast and very customer friendly. I recommend giving it a try and I'll definitely be back.“

“That's some delicious fried chicken. Well breaded and fried with a nice base level of spiciness. I got a recommendation to check it out, so I was a little surprised they didn't have different levels of spiciness, but it was very tasty, so it worked for me.Standard sides are beans and slaw, which were both good. The fried okra was a step up and fresh with a good batter. We were a walk-in party of 8, which they were easily able to accommodate, but the food took a little longer than we anticipated. Well worth the wait.“

“Very good tasting chicken they would put lemon pepper on chicken, If you don't want lemon pepper, let them know. I would like to tell you more. But that was the only dish I've had since I stopped by there just a few times but they have other varieties like fried fish, hamburger and other food items.“

“This place has remained one of the best southern style fried chicken places for years.Nothing crazy or different. Just some of the best textbook fried chicken you can get in STL.I prefer the spicy breading over the normal one but both are spectacular. 9.1-8.8 clucks respectively.“

“Listen, I totally forgot about this place until I was looking for a shrimp po' boy and I am so upset that I have missed about a year of their food. Stop and get something even if the line happens to be long. It is WORTH THE WAIT! Even my kids like their fish, which is highly unusual.“

“I had the Box Combo. It was my first time there but multiple people have recommended them. I found the chicken a bit underseasoned. Didn't care for the sauce. Fries were just okay and coleslaw was not for me. The Texas toast was delicious, though! The price was right, and I enjoyed the restaurant's setup. The music choices were great (high-energy pop), but the music was pretty loud. I enjoyed it while eating alone but would have had to strain to hear over it.It's not my first choice but I'd eat here again.“

“I usually go shortly after the restaurant opens to ensure I get the roasted chicken and certain pieces that I want. The food is cooked fresh and I like the nice selection of sides. You can't go wrong with Lee's Chicken in my opinion.“

“I was driving down West Florissant and needed to get gas and use the restroom, stopped at 2 gas stations, and neither one had a public restroom available. So I went to Lee's, and theirs was a lifesaver!!!The restroom was clean and smelled fresh!! I made a purchase and the food was hot and delicious!! The cashier stopped his stocking and immediately waited on us. Thank You!!!!“

“Very happy with the food and the value! I ordered DoorDash delivery from this place because it was significantly less expensive than others and recent reviews looked decent enough to risk it. For a 10 piece legs/thighs with fries it was only $12.99 ($19 total with taxes and DD delivery tip). It came in a 9x13 pan with perforated foil over it to keep it from getting too soggy during delivery. It was still hot and crispy. They sent hot sauce and ketchup packets in the bag.You can actually see their spice mix on the chicken and fries. It's a nice, mild garlic-y mix. Not very spicy. I love salt, so I was fine with the sodium level, but it would be pretty high for anyone with health considerations. (You might be able to request it without the extra spice mix on top though?) The seasoning profile is different, but I’d say the salt level of the breading was similar to KFC’s.Food tasted fresh. Chicken wasn’t dry. Leftovers reheated well in the air fryer. A couple of the leg and thigh pieces were on the smaller side, but I had zero problem with that given the price. Just a consideration if you’re feeding kids (or adults) who will squabble over who gets the biggest pieces. It looks like they have a drive through window for easy pickup orders. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm excited they have things like gyros and salads too. All their prices look very reasonable. I live right next to a KFC, but their food quality and order accuracy have been horrible and Popeyes has been hit or miss lately too. I highly suggest skipping the big chains and checking this place out. It may be my new go-to place for comfort food!“

“I've never gone to Lee's fried chicken and received a bad meal before.I was just out done. The chicken was very dark, and I couldn't tell that the oil needed to be changed . The flour needed changing also. There were clumps of breading on the chicken. And in the box.If I did not live so far away , I would have returned it. We managed to eat it because it was late and it was edible . But not up to Lee's standards. I worked for the company before in a manager position. So I know the standards . That was not it.“
“Been years since I been inside this place for food, then when I seen it back open I went inside to order and what was a walk up window in front was gone and an entire bar magically appeared when I opened the door, didn't look anything like it used to look. I seen vinyl records on the he wall behind the DJ area that was by 1 of the front windows the other front window area looked like a small section for a dance floor. The Bar was in the Rear and yes the still serve the food. It was early afternoon if it was even past noon when I discovered the new renovated "Arkansas Fried Chicken" I can't wait to visit it at night. Ow & check it out.“

“I used to love this location but tonight (7/28/23) I had to deal with an incompetent and very unprofessional "manager" who felt it was more important for him to open the door to the lobby to have food dropped off to him than to give me the items in my order that I didn't receive in the drive thru. I shouldn't have to get irate and get into shouting match with a "man" who has a fragile ego in order to get a correct order. We called each other some choice words but I guess his little feelings got hurt because he proceeded to come around the counter and walk towards the door ready to fight. I didn't get his name of course but it shouldn't be hard to figure out who was in charge tonight.“
