“This is one of the best spots in KC for pastries, breakfast and brunch foods. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent and the menu is full of can't miss items.
My personal favorites are the fried egg sandwich, the fried chicken biscuit and gravy and the fruit pastries. 10/10.“

“Sour Rabbit Bakery was highly recommended to us. One of the few things this area lacks are good bakerys like this one. It is one of the things we miss when we return from our annual 3 month vacations from germany and this bakery fills that spot. The sour dough bread is perfect does not taste like vinegar as most sour dough does here. Absolutely amazed with everything we picked up today.“

“Beyond impressed! My boyfriend's favorite dessert is a key lime pie. He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! Thank you, Mud Pie, for doing this for us and for being so kind and accommodating!“

“I had a hard day and needed a pick me up, so I decided to go get a cinnamon roll. It was exactly what I wanted, the pastry was hand rolled, dripping with cinnamon, sugar and butter. You could see each individual layer, simply baked with love! It was huge, well worth every penny, and I enjoyed every bite. The owner was in the kitchen and I asked if he would come over to meet me, he did and I complemented him on his food and the time and passion he put into each roll. We laughed and talked for a while. I told him that I drive past several locations just to specifically come to his because of the consistency of his products. He thanked me, I thanked him and my day was a little brighter!“
