“Beyond impressed! My boyfriend's favorite dessert is a key lime pie. He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! I do notice a change in the attitude of the staff since about later 2025.

This may be because of any number of things. Around October 22 or 23 there were two bank robberies,first 1:30pm in Waldo area US bank Gregory Boulevard and Wornall Road-last one at 3:30pm a block away UMB Bank 49th & Main Street.

While the wait staff is excellent in a leisurely lunch, yet highly attentive; the sales staff are aggressive as soon as I am finished with the meal.
Even if I go to purchase a special treat not having a meal, and I want to shop. Also the price of chocolate treats were around $97.00 a pound for liquor chocolate truffles in February 2026!I don’t even look at the truffles anymore ( prices may fluctuate but I have noticed it’s unlikely prices go down).

I feel the sales staff rush customers to pay and leave.“

They Fulfil and their served their niche of providing cookies that the Fire captain that used live next door and has2 daughter's one close to my daughter age, I asked her and her dad did she try crunbl cookies and he said he didn't buy Crumbl Cookies, he thought they were ABIT Pricey. “We ordered cinnamon roles to be picked up a day in advance for a brunch we were hosting. We had ordered from the catering menu. We received a call from store manager Eric the morning before picking up our order. He recognized that we were likely ordering food for the next day given our pickup time was 5pm. He talked to us about our order and revised it to cinnaPacks to save money. I felt this was great customer service to take the time to make these alterations to our order. I picked up my order and food was ready when I got there. Of course, the roles are delicious! And the cold brew was good too. I believe Cinnabon rolls are consistently good most places that you go. But customer service at this location takes it up a notch! Well done.“

“I had a hard day and needed a pick me up, so I decided to go get a cinnamon roll. It was exactly what I wanted, the pastry was hand rolled, dripping with cinnamon, sugar and butter. You could see each individual layer, simply baked with love! It was huge, well worth every penny, and I enjoyed every bite. The owner was in the kitchen and I asked if he would come over to meet me, he did and I complemented him on his food and the time and passion he put into each roll. We laughed and talked for a while. I told him that I drive past several locations just to specifically come to his because of the consistency of his products. He thanked me, I thanked him and my day was a little brighter!“
