The pork fried rice was very good as well. The beef and broccoli did not get rave reviews from the family...one said Hy-Vee's Chinese beef and broccoli tastes the same.“

But what was best about our experience getting food here was that when my mother left her wallet sitting somewhere in the restaurant while waiting for our food, she got distracted and forgot it! She didn’t even realize until way late at night after close. Thankfully, whoever was working that evening noticed the wallet and put it away for safekeeping and my mother was able to get it back the following morning. She was extremely grateful and we admire the honesty and integrity of the employee and business! So glad they noticed the wallet and are clearly paying attention to their restaurant.“

Maybe the lower quality was because they were trying to use up food because they are closed tomorrow? We ordered general's chicken chicken lo mein and egg rolls. The egg rolls were obviously reheated in the microwave and so chewy that we could not even invite them. The chicken lo mein was awful. I guess the low main part was okay but the chicken tasted like chicken that had been in someone's refrigerator for three or four days and been reheated. Although the general's chicken the chicken was good, you could not even bite through the onions and the broccoli was hard as a rock. Because we have had good prior experiences I will try to order here again but maybe not on a sunday?“

“First time there. Ordered pork lomein, it was decent, full of flavor and the fact it had broccoli was a plus. My only thing was it was the tenderloin style pork, and I prefer the regular sliced/strip meat. The portion size was very good, enough for at least 2 or 3 meals. “Walked in to grab a take-out order for lunch. Had a good experience. I ordered fried shrimp, spring rolls, and crab rangoon. It took 10 minutes, very quick service, which was perfect because I had to get back to work. The spring rolls came with 4, 6 crab rangoon, and 8 pieces of fried shrimp, which by the way, happens to be awesome with sweet and sour sauce!

Everything was fresh, nicely packaged, and the young lady gave me 6 fortune cookies……I didn’t have to ask more; that was dope, I almost always want more than one.

Still hands down the best seasoned rice that I have had in KC. Workers are eager to please. I will say it was so worth the drive though! The food was enough portions to take to work the next day and Tony our waiter gave us the most compassionate, comfortable and engaging experience!

It's a generous portion, with a satisfying crispy crunch in every bite. (The chicken is not breaded.) The crispy exterior and tender chicken, combined with the heat of the jalapeños, create an unforgettable flavor profile. It's a generous portion that easily feeds our whole family. (It's not that spicy!) While it's a bit pricier, it easily feeds our whole family.

Their lunch specials are fantastic value, with huge entrees and a choice of egg rolls or crab rangoons. The Szechuan Chicken is a family favorite, and the Cashew Chicken has a delightful smoky taste. The lunch menu offers a variety of dishes, with some standout favorites and others that didn't quite hit the mark.

The only downside is that we don't live closer! This place is our go-to for fast, delicious Chinese takeout.“
