“I visited this spot on a whim, hungry after a workout and I'm so glad I did! It popped up on Yelp with great reviews so I stopped in. The service was great and the food came out fast. The smoked Turkey was super flavorful and tender. Definitely try the spicy house bbq sauce on the turkey and the baked beans. Chefs kiss. The greens weren't my cup of tea. They weren't bad, just was missing a little something for my taste. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area.“

“The fries are great. The pricing is very fair. The food was ok. My Philly cheese steak was nothing like I expected. First bite seems nice but then there was so much liquid smoke flavor I couldnt finish it. The flavor of the sandwich was so strong that the au jus was useless. It's odd, I think this is the first time I considered food at a restaurant over-seasoned. I will say, everything was cooked quite well. I wasn't expecting fajita style strips on my sandwich either. I think with some minor improvements the food would probably be great. My partner liked his herb-crust roast pork a lot. Perhaps it's just the Philly that's a miss. I'm not a big pork eater but the bite I took of his seemed pretty good. The atmosphere feels unfinished, but I like the mural. Hated the country music, but that's a personal thing. Everyone was very nice. No complaints about the service whatsoever. If I'm in the area, I may give them another shot someday.Vegetarian options: I don't remember seeing any vegetarian options other than salads, maybe an appetizer or two. And I'm not certain they even had a vegetarian one of those, but I'm sure they'd take things off you don't want.“

“My boyfriend and I love it here! This may sound silly, but It’s rare you get beers that taste exactly how they are described. I can really taste the different notes of fruit come through! Caboose Kitchen is also a good spot to satisfy your salty / savory fix. We love the fries!We had a good chat with one of the brew masters and one of the bartenders last night. They were good company.Overall, This place is a weekend staple for us. We really enjoy the atmosphere- they truly play into the friendship aspect!“

“We decided to try The Scrambler House today for the 1st time. It was delicious! They were very busy and food still arrived quickly. The homestyle potatoes were the best. Our server was very kind and even gave our son a little hot wheels car. It will definitely be our go-to breakfast place! Way better than any chain.“

“I have never been so disrespected by the lady who was at the front counter. Older lady blonde hair, black shirt. There 4 doordashers waiting on orders I walked up and told her the name she was instantly annoyed and told me move aside. She was even more rude to the dasher behind me. I gave you 5 stars because the restaurant isn't the reason there was a problem it was the host or waitress. Dashers help your business by delivering food to your customers that would not have ordered from here if we didn't deliver it. Maybe shes having a bad day but all of us even customers sitting down to eat all heard what she said to us and they were shocked. Its completely unnecessary to be rude to us because we are not sitting down to eat. Were delivering your food to your customers and I dont appreciate how I was treated. I dont think I will ever take my family back to jj's because of that ladys comments to us.“

“I am a self admitted coffee snob so when I say this is passable coffee, I mean it is good and I would get it again if I couldn't get a hold of a snobby high elevation African blend :). A little darker roast than my taste but made right. And the service was crazy friendly and happy. Really nice to my kids too. And this was yhe only coffee shop open on Easter so I am grateful to the super friendly folks that were working that day. I tipped them well but I hope they get a raise too! If you are the manager of Scooters and reading this please note I might be reviewing the wrong location. I was a tourist and dont know my way around sorry.“

“This is a local restaurant that has been in town a long time. The atmosphere has a local flare because you don't know who you will see (that might be why it has been here a long time (?) the locals love it). The service is outstanding, if one is busy the other will step in to help. The food is just as outstanding as the service! We had the fish sandwich and it was sooo good. Everything looked good when it came to other tables (which is why we go back as much as we can!) Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!“

“Last night after a LONG day at the st. Charles county fair, my family went to Waffle House around 11 pm for some dinner … we were greeted by the staff and had great late night dinner. The food was amazing staff was excellent .. my son is a pickle freak .. he asked our waitress for some extra pickles .. the guy cooking on the grill grabbed a bowl FILLED it to the top with pickles and gave it to him !!! This kids eyes got so BIG ,and the smile on his face went ear to ear !!! We will forever go to Waffle House busy or not !! It’s always well worth the wait ..“

“The burgers here are on point. The chili not so much. Tastes like cheap can chili. Nice cozy diner atmosphere, bathrooms are very dated. Door doesn't lock, no toilet paper holder, ancient hand dryer, etc. Come here for the burger though it's delicious and “

“This is pretty good place with a nice staff who is always trying to make your trip worth it. Food is pretty good. The prices are nice with the food portions. I always like going here with friend because there's that nice atmosphere. They also have a good breakfast buffet once a month“

“This was my first time visiting Dog Prairie Tavern. Let's just say I will definitely be going back in the near future. It's a hidden gem ?.They have indoor and outside seating, along with live music and sand volleyball. It's a welcoming establishment and pricing is reasonable.“

“I can't even exaggerate, I got a HUGE ribeye here. With the two sides, i had to get a togo box, and I normally do not. They cook well and portion large. The volleyball court is absolutely AMAZING!!!Kid-friendliness: They have a playground outside off the patio for your kids.“

I don't know how they stayed in a ball shape. But don't let them cool off, or they lose their smoothness. Choose Regular Ranch as a dipping sauce, not Cajun Ranch.Wife had a Critter meal and potato. The chicken strips were crispy and very tender. It was Lacking some seasoning, in my opinion, but overall very decent chicken. Nice dipping sauces, though.I had the ribeye and ribs combo. Ribs were bananas. I usually object to fall off the bone ribs, but these had char. They were moist and had amazing flavor.We also had a garden salad and baked potato. Both were great. Dessert was a strawberry cheesecake.Great food!Had an issue, and Lily, and Manager helped resolve it. We are grateful for hard-working waitstaff, but even the best restaurants will have an issue.
