They always have vegan variants on everything so it's a great spot to go for carnivores, omnivores, and all the veggiesauruses out there. The jukebox is all punk rock. I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely try everything on the menu but the specials are always the best thing there. My fav specials are anything with Tteokbokki, Garlic Chillicrisp Mandu, and Kimchi Pancakes. Last night I ate a "Korean Crunchwrap" and each bite felt like God telling me I was his most cherished creation. I told my friend about this place a few years back for a first date recommendation and now he's engaged. Coincidence? Definitely eat here!“

“First visit in at least 5 years and if anything, it has only improved. It has always been my favorite venue in STL. I love that the entire space is all ages if it's an all ages show now! Great experience bringing my 10 year old to see the Aquabats for her first concert.“

“Although it’s true that I was at the Rec Hall the reason that I was there was for the Zero Latency VR activity. Basically I got to be a marine fighting zombies on the holodec with 3D glasses. It was an absolute blast and I will definitely do it again.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. “Yesterday The Family and I went a tried a new eatery by The Grove. The Bootleggin’s . If you like Burnt Ends. It was the Best we ever had. They were soooo Ono delicious. Broke da Mouth with every bite. Wings were Biggins, moist inside & Crispy outside. Done Da Right way. The Penrose disco fries were sick with deliciousness. The staff was very Engaging and friendly. All burgers were on target. I had the pleasure to talk with and learn the story of one of the owners named Brenton. Thank you for your time answering our questions. I’m going to give a 4.5 out of 5 Coconuts 🥥 falling out the Coconut 🌴 tree. Only thing I dislike was how low the urinal was in the men’s bathroom. “One of South City’s hidden gems! The Drawing Board has quickly become one of my go-to spots. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel welcome — they really go out of their way to accommodate you. The smash burgers are top notch — easily some of the best in the St. Louis.

They’ve got a great beer selection with something for everyone, whether you’re into craft brews or just want a cold classic. On top of that, they offer a variety of games to enjoy, including free pool, which is a huge bonus. It’s got that perfect neighborhood bar vibe with great food, drinks, and people. “I've been visiting Bar PM for years. They have been consistently great owners who keep a safe and open atmosphere for every walk of life.
All their bartenders and staff are always nice, non-judgey and remember almost everyone.
The other bar patrons are welcoming. There is a very nice dance floor next door past their expansive patio which includes another full service bar. This place gets packed on Saturday night. Take an Uber imo.

“Purple Quarters, you can take all of my quarters! Chef’s kiss. First, the ambiance..exquisite. Dark but not too dark. The games…perfect selection here. The pool balls…shiniest I’ve ever seen. The felt, so smooth. But the service, might as well have been in New York City. The staff is friendly, attentive, hot to trot. 12 out of 10. You’ll be seeing a lot of me 😉“

“Bunker's is a nice corner pub with a outdoor covered patio. The price of drinks was much lower than I anticipated, meant more to tip the bartender. Friendly patrons at least the few I met. They were open promptly at the listed hours. Only thing that was missing was music(no ambient music in the background).“

“Over the past three years I have frequented this bar, and I have to say it’s one of the hidden gems of our city. Stan’s is a slice of south city and has cemented itself as an iconic establishment. No two nights are the same, but you feel at home when you walk through the door. Love this place. The staff are top shelf.“

“It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place for you. If you don't mind sitting on bar height stools then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are extremely tiny after you get into the stall... So it's not big girlfriend friendly.
I just don't think this was the place for us but by the amount of people that were there it is definitely the place for a lot of other people!
