“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“I drive past this place a lot and never paid it any attention. My friend and I wanted some frozen drinks and food. When I say this place was a pleasant surprise. From the security to the ladies working at the bar we felt cared for. Even the other patrons were really nice. You can tell they are regulars there and we enjoyed that. The drinks were A1 in taste and buzz level. The only “issue” I had was the menu I read about online wasn’t as extensive. I had my heart set on something I didn’t see in person but that’s not a dealbreaker. They will see us again.“

“I like Fallon's. It's a casual restaurant. You can dine with friends or family in a laid-back setting. It's also cool to watch sports as well. I've eaten at this restaurant three times. Each time prior to my most recent visit, I got the Club sandwich. This time, I tried a burger. It did NOT disappoint. Char-grilled and delicious. This burger was a half pound, nicely seasoned, fresh, and tasty. It's calling my name as we speak, lol.
I suggest you give this place a try. The burger is no joke! Also, on another note, I love their strawberry lemonade. It has strawberry puree in it. It paired so well with my delicious burger.“

“Walking down Main St on a beautiful evening and the patio caught our eye. The "dungeon" basement is cool and the bartender was really sweet. Having a fire when it got a bit chilly was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for dinner soon.“

That's me with Reggie "JC" Brooks of St.Louis, and the guy behind J.C. Supper Club not far from here. We engaged inside my favorite St.Louis bakery on The Hill. We chatted at the counter as we waited to have our orders rung up by Sharon, another delightful human being. 🥰 Great conversation, and JC proudly told me about his son getting accepted at a local private school for his academic and sports achievements. JC was beaming. Proud Dad. We shared our concerns for the world as it is now, and how we just want everyone to live their best lives. Short conversation, lifetime memory. JC invited me to stop at "J.C. Supper Club" the next time I am in town. We parted, and he said, "Come by, I'll remember you." I know, and I'll remember him, too. “T is a wonderful and attentive bar tender. She greeted myself and my crew upon arriving, and she made sure that we were good throughout our visit. She was very nice and cool and her knowledge of drinks and the food menu was great. She has a wonderful spirit and she made our time at the bistro a blast. “We went to Syberg's yesterday ... always our spot to meet up with our son and his girlfriend. Service was great, food was delicious..... and the lobster mac was AMAZING! Full of chunks of lobster! Syberg's on Dorsett is one of our favorites! We drive almost two hours to eat there 🙂“

“Crazy awesome and fairly secretive spot - a former German restaurant turned Mexican restaurant turned 70's wood paneled rec room with some of the wildest experimental music shows in town. If they are serving food the street tacos are great but the Al Pastor burrito is a true hidden gem in St. Louis. Don't miss out on this spot when its open for its limited hours!“

“Wife and I decided to hit the easy button after walking nine holes and grab lunch at Ruthie’s. Had been years since I’d eaten there, and certainly delivered! Sat on the patio overlooking the 9th hole, and bartender came to take our drink and food orders. Had the 2nd Shift Brooligan, which was a great IPA. We split a toasted ravioli app and the Crush Burger. Ravs we’re good, burger was absolute fire. Fries were hot and crispy, the way they should be!

Vegetarian options: They have a Black bean burger for the veggie in your life.“

“Seamus is always our go to place to take our 3 young kids. They even have newly updated kids menus that have plenty of kid aproved foods and come with drinks! The patio is perfect on a nice day. The buffalo chicken sandwich is gigantic and delicious and the ranch it comes with is worth the price alone- SO good! Their burgers are huge and really good as well. The servers are always nice and attentive and the beers are always cold.“

“The food was so-so at the Soho!
However, they are soon to redeem that with a new menu just days away. Meanwhile do not get the fried goat chese medallions and assume there is ANY meat like we did by the name 'medallions' [really our mistake bc no where on that expensive appetizer 'medalion' listing did it say beef anything !
The waitress we had seemed rushed like she had too many tables to attend to. Terrace seating was nice overall a little pricey for quality.“

“I have not noticed racial tensions there. (Any more than you might find anywhere in the StL)....There is a woman that frequents the bar who has color and appears to be well regarded. It IS a North side divey joint. They don't serve any food now outside of bar room pizza...But drink and beer prices are good and if you stay away from controversial conversation you'll get along with everyone in there. Which is probably true for let's say 75% of the corner bars in St. Louis.“
