“It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place for you. If you don't mind sitting on bar height stools then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are extremely tiny after you get into the stall... So it's not big girlfriend friendly.
I just don't think this was the place for us but by the amount of people that were there it is definitely the place for a lot of other people!

“I really enjoyed my afternoon/evening here. It's grungy, painted black, inside and outside bars, tables on the patio and bar stools at the bar inside. There are so many video games that I used to play. Basketball and skee ball and tabletop games. The only downside was not having a barstool to sit on while playing games.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“This is without a doubt the best food in St. Louis. The value you get for your money is unparalleled as they hand prep everything. No short cuts! The staff is very friendly. The location is fun because it's a pinball bar so you can play pinball or get drinks while you wait. The food comes fast. They always have vegan variants on everything so it's a great spot to go for carnivores, omnivores, and all the veggiesauruses out there. The jukebox is all punk rock. I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely try everything on the menu but the specials are always the best thing there. My fav specials are anything with Tteokbokki, Garlic Chillicrisp Mandu, and Kimchi Pancakes. Last night I ate a "Korean Crunchwrap" and each bite felt like God telling me I was his most cherished creation. I told my friend about this place a few years back for a first date recommendation and now he's engaged. Coincidence? Definitely eat here!“

And if you're hungry (or even if you aren't), the food is not too be missed. Creative top notch selection of bay snacks and sandwiches. It's very laid back with live music almost every night and lots of recreational fun - pool, darts, games, etc. And then they also have a comfortable outdoor patio in the back, where you can bring your dog.“

“This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. “I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“
