“Go to this bar. Bike parking right up front, every band I've seen so far are all very good, I immediately made friends with everyone there, I became family in 3 visits. Everyone watches out for everyone, no fights, drinks are very reasonable, there's good parking around back. The bar owner Judy commands respect and everyone loves her. If you like slayer, and pink Floyd, and grateful dead, and megadeth, this is the bar. I'd say it's my favorite bar period.“

“The sand bar has been there a long time.and being the kind of person that I am I don't like.to.drink and drive.so.reciently my boyfriend and I have stopped.by to have a beer.a beer.!!! The owners are very nice and the atmosphere is.really nostalgic.they decorate it for every holiday and.they have cool.cardnial.memoriablea.its a nice.place to.go and relax from a day of hard work and stress.i highly recommend the visit.u won't be dissapointed.just a.little.bar with reasonable.prices good atmosphere and.friendly people.no troubles.in this bar..keep up the good.work .God bless“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“As a person with Celiac visiting your town I felt so welcome and safe- and it was a huge treat to eat an entire plate of yummy fried goodness that was safely prepared for someone like me. “This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. Highly recommend, especially if you are into pinball and punk rock“

“I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“Bunker's is a nice corner pub with a outdoor covered patio. The price of drinks was much lower than I anticipated, meant more to tip the bartender. Friendly patrons at least the few I met. They were open promptly at the listed hours. Only thing that was missing was music(no ambient music in the background).“

“This is my favorite bar in Clayton. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is sports/STL history-centric (which is fun), the food is surprisingly good for bar food, and the drink pours and prices are tops. If you have the option for drink spots in Clayton, this should be your choice.“
