“I came across this restaurant late while trying to decide what I wanted on my last night in town. I called the restaurant and asked about if they still had the oxtails with thirty minutes to spare before closing. The gentleman said yes and took my order over the phone so it would be ready by the time I got there. Little did I know that the restaurant was less than five minutes away. Fast forward, I get there and ended up sitting down. The owner, Dave, was very welcoming and engaging. I sat stayed and was able to enjoy a good home cooked meal along with good conversation. Dave makes everyone who comes feel like you are right at home. I will say one day I will try ginger beer. Good prices, chill vibes.. go check his place out if you’re in the area.“
“We love Scott's Kitchen! Everything we have eaten has been delicious - tacos, bowls, beef, chicken, turkey - all of it! They have a variety of heat levels so everyone can find what suits them. Staff is friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions and serving. The temperature in the dining area is really cold (in my opinion) and the chairs are metal. If we are eating in, I need to remember to take something to sit on just to warm it up! There are outside seating options if the weather is good, as well as carryout.“
“In KC for business and never had Argentinian cuisine before. Started with the spicy beef empanada and followed that with the beef Milanesas (#6) - Amazing!! Family owned and operated restaurant is definitely worth visiting. Appreciate the great service and atmosphere.“
“I was so distracted by the food that I didn’t even take any pictures of the rest of the place!First off—why the loss of a star? $8 for a beer was about it. Prices aren’t listed (at least as of my visit) and I can see why. That hurt. I’ve been to Irish pubs that charge less.If you don’t enjoy an occasional adult beverage, then ignore that and consider this a five star review. The crew working was excellent and the food was likewise fantastic. Your kiddos might not be thrilled with cheese on their PB&J so be warned. It was excellent but it’s definitely not what kids are expecting.Every plate looked like a work of art. They really seemed to enjoy what they do and the food spoke for itself. Visiting, passing through, or a local—you should go. The cheeses pair so well with everything and the sandwiches are better than going to just another burger place. They have none here so don’t expect an artistic twist on your favorite burger. We’ll visit again. It’s too tasty not to.“
“Delicious! Lots of food for the $ and fast! My new fave in town. Wouldn't have known about it, but overheard two kids deciding where to eat today and they told me where to find it. Thanks to them for the recommendation! Try it and spread the word!“
“Only had 1 pizza and 1 salad here as I was only in town to work for 1 week. Both items were very good... surprisingly good. They were very busy on a week day so I assume their popular in the town and rightly so. Wish we were there longer because I like to visit places more than once to see if they're consistent. 4 Stars for the food I did have 3 for service but they were very busy 2 for atmosphere because the people eating there kept looking at me like weirdos.Almost forgot.... don't know what the hell that pink sauce is but that stuff is good ? only disappointment was not getting more.. it's like that hot sauce saying..." I put that ish on everything" lol!“
