“So I have a wheat allergy, and have been going to neighbors mill for a long time because I can have the spelt oat bread. Here recently the customer service has gone way down hill. Today I called a head and order a grilled cheese on spelt, a tomato soup, and a salad and told them “no bread on the side.” When I got there I checked my food (because I have ordered this before and still end up with bread on the salad and have to give it away) and the salad had the focaccia in with it. So I told the lady checking me out that it needs to be remade, and her response to me was “well you should have told us.” (It was written on the receipt) so while I was waiting for that I asked for a spelt pumpkin muffin, paid for it and went on my way. At a stop light I had realized that she had given me a regular pumpkin muffin. So I turned around and when I got there she said “what’s wrong now?” And I told her that she put a regular muffin in my bag when I had asked for a spelt one because of my allergy. Needless to say I’m done, between what happened today and a buddy of mine used to work there and he told me that they treat their employees like garbage. Now they’re treating their customers the same way.“

“I really love Charleys and this is my go to food mostly. All the staff are always with amazing smiles on their faces and absolutely the nicest ever. The food is so tasty and i love the peach lemonade! So perfect!

“I did not really care for the chicken salad, cox hospital is better. Not saying it's terrible, but seemed dry and mixture is finaly ground like is was in a blender. The cheese broccoli soup was not up to par. Cookie was good. Doubt if I will go back. Wawa on easy coast is a lot better.“

“Goodcents, and this location in particular, is my go to sub shop. Its my favorite Italian since starting college in the 90s. Today I wanted to get an early start on Super Bowl Sunday and every page I could find said they were open at 10. Google, Facebook, Yelp and even their individual corporate page agreed that it was 10 instead of 11, but evidently no one told the manager or employees. I rolled up at 10:25 to find a couple employees working but doors locked. 3 other cars arrived and left because they weren't open. When the doors opened at 11, meat and toppings were still being prepped. I nearly walked out, but you know, hunger. My bread was stale, a first for this location. Normally a 9/10, but today 7/10, will still eat again.“

“This is a well-managed and well- staffed McAlister's. Food is always great, employees check on patrons and the space is inviting. Only caveat is the space near the front that is closed. Seems like it's been like that for a while.“

“As a jersey guy, I get really homesick for the comfort ofhome. So traversing the Midwest I try to stop at Jersey Mike’s for some familiarity. Lo and behold the manager, Dave, of this location, has spent some time in New York and New Jersey so he made me and my group feel right at home. The food was delicious and the place was clean. “Every time I’ve come in here, it has been great. The Club on a Sub is my go-to, and it tastes amazing every time. They also have a college student offer, so if you’re a MO State, Drury, OTC, or Evangel student, you can get a sandwich combo with a free chip & free drink with ID.“

“Six months ago I wouldn't have given Goodcents a good review. They were really struggling post Covid. We have visited Goodcents twice in the last month and have not been disappointed. My kids really like the kids alfredo. On our last visit, they didn't have any alfredo made but the person working took the time to make the pasta. My kids were happy and so was I. I love the Goodcents Original on wheat with tomatoes, banana peppers, mayo and a little bit of oil and vinegar. Very filling and the food tastes fresh.“

“There was a Black Friday BOGO deal so we picked up a steak and cheese plus a Cajun chicken with chips and drink (btw they do Coke Freestyle there which begins a few criticisms). If you are going to have a fountain drink machine touting multitudes of sodas and flavors, then keep them filled up and/or available instead of the customer getting "Unavailable" messages every other time they touch the screen. Once you've settled for whatever soda is available, then you are faced with a very unclean area to get lids, straws, and napkins... Splatters everywhere...and not cleaned in some time. Food: good, above avg, but we picked up on the south side of town and waited to eat until we got home on the north side of town. By this time our steak and cheese was quite soggy. The staff were quite young, which is normal these days, sooo....it is what it is.“

“The experience at this subway restaurant was like most subways at lunch. Chaotic and out of order. They were understaffed for the time of day which led to unnecessary wait times. I understand that things slow down when they get busy but with a little help from management I think they could be the best subway in Springfield.“

“We loved this place and it happened to work out really well for our family. Unfortunately they do not have an allergy friendly menu and they no longer honor the Sunday kid meal deal. They now offer a different deal on Tuesday and Saturday. It’s disappointing that the company doesn’t still do it, but the only issue we had was there was nothing that said it was no longer an option.“

“I rarely ever rate 5-stars, but I did today because of the sole employee in the store. Dillon is a great worker, with an even tempered demeanor and a good sense of humor. In spite of being on by himself, Dillon didn't get rattled when it got a little busier than it should have been. He explained his situation without complaining about being on by himself. Customer service is typically a thankless job, but this guy represents the best Subway has to offer. Hopefully someone sees this and gives Dillon the recognition he deserves.“

“Tiny yet cozy little location. The food was fresh and delicious. This former service station's garage was converted to a wonderful dining room full of natural lighting. Staff was polite, helpful, and courteous.

“The girl that was working. Blonde with glasses around 2pm on Wednesday May 22nd. She was so sweet and helpful. I have allergies to mayonnaise (eggs) and always feel stupid having to ask them for a really clean knife (no residue) - sometimes people get frustrated and seem annoyed. She went above and beyond to get me what I needed and had a conversation with me while working and not even slowing down. I just wanted to say i typically hate Springfield, but she made me not hate it as much thanks to her in a little sandwich shop.“
