“Love love LOVE! My family (party of 8) recently came and dined in. We had two children with us. The customer service was phenomenal. They made us feel right at home and offered alternatives for the children. I have never been more impressed with food and service by any restaurant, anywhere. Thank you so much for welcoming us in and treating us like family. Food recommendations- We loved the Brussel sprouts appetizer and the Italian beef egg rolls. Entree favorites included the chicken parmigiana and the Italian pillows. Every item on the menu tasted unique and intentional.“

“Boathouse is our favorite spot on the Mississippi River. The food is great, their staff is always friendly, and prices are reasonable. They feature a wide variety of live bands, outside when weather permits and inside when necessary. Come by car or by boat; they have free courtesy docks for those arriving by water. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.“

“Visiting our daughter and her fiancée for Thanksgiving and we wanted to find a taphouse with some comfort food on a snowy afternoon. Schlafly’s Bankside was a perfect choice. We did some fried pickles and four of us shared the full beer flight (16 5oz pours). If there’s Shepherd’s Pie on the menu, I’m ordering it. Hearty, delicious and filling - just what I wanted!

“I walked into a classy interior and sat at the bar. I was welcomed there by the owner and he made me feel like a king. I had some fine tequila and ordered the duck. Both were fantastic. The service was wonderful. One of the best duck breast dishes I ever had. Hats off to Westchester for a positive experience“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“This is the ONLY place in STL that actually feels like LA on the inside. The atmosphere is fantastic and brightens your mood. A great place to work remotely if you have the midday blues.

As for the food, the sides are absolutely delicious and full of flavor, however they go cold almost as soon as you receive it. So eating slow and enjoying your meal becomes quite a hassle. The steak is yummy but the cook on it is not consistent. The pinker pieces definitely have more flavor, unfortunately much of the steak I have received over the past couple orders have been over cooked and a bit dry. The miso crunch salad is very similar to the Health Nut Chicken Asian Salad (The famous Kardashian Salad) except for two distinct differences. The “crunch” is non-existent as there are not any won tons or rice strips. The salad could really use some sort of makeshift crouton to achieve this instead of relying on cabbage. The dressing is also more on the bitter side and doesn’t have the bright flare you’d come to expect from an Asian salad, making it fall short. A little sweetness and citrus added to the dressing would fix this. As for the drinks, same problem with sweetness. The lemonade is too sour and without the sweetness in their mango sencha green tea, it’s no different than making a mostly tasteless tea for yourself at home. Would love to see Flower Child tweak their recipes just a bit to add sweetness and brightness and this establishment would be 5/5 stars.“

“Celebrated our grandson's 11th birthday at Bugatti's. Sarah (I believe I'm correct) was our main waitress. When she found out it was a child's birthday she came with balloons to put on the table to make it festive. She gave us (a party of 9) a great table kind of off by itself. The food was served hot and was very good. They had special child sized steaks with fries. The wait staff was very patient and attentive and made us feel welcome even though with three 11 year olds it got a little boisterous at times. We enjoyed our food and birthday gathering. Thank you.“

“My first night eating here I ordered the Amish chicken. It was delicious and came with garlic mashed potatoes, baby carrots, and asparagus. My second night I ordered the chicken pacatto. It was also tasty. For dessert I had hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream...yum yum yum! I had to order it again on my 2nd night. The staff was welcoming and attentive!“

“In town for a tournament for my daughter's hockey team and had a smashburger and a cold beer and let me tell you it was awesome! It is kind of pricey but you are paying for convenience. I don't mind paying extra money for quality food It was great“

Fantastic staff, location, rooms, breakfast buffet (not included, but amazing if you end up dining there). Only very small let down were hours of the gym/pool on weekends. Ended up running outside and felt safe with the Chesterfield police next door. Thank you for the great accommodations!“

“The place was packed! Only saw one waitress working the whole place. Sheri was like a little tinkerbell, remembering my name and what I liked to drink. Food service was a bit slow but under the circumstances, I was pleased I got what I ordered and it was hot. The band was fun and encountered a welcoming atmosphere. Please give Sheri some good juju and hang on the best employee you have! First and last impressions are very important in the business. She made the night of my friends birthday party! What a trouper!“

“This place is kinda fun. It's in the basement of the DoubleTree hotel. There is no sign outside the hotel telling you it's inside. So it feels like going to a speakeasy or something. But there it is in the basement along with the hotel's meeting rooms for small conferences. At any rate, there were a couple of people at the bar and a couple of diners but overall pretty empty. The decor is decent and seems new. We both ordered the Smokey Veggie Burger and they were good! There like a crazy cattle brand burned into the top bun of the burger. Fun! Burgers were really tasty and filling. Steak fries were good. This is an odd little restaurant with a fun kinda scavenger hunt to find it in a kinda forgotten area by the airport. We'll be back.

Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, but it's a burger bar so keep the purpose of the place in mind.“
