“We were passing by Kansas City on our way back home from Sioux Falls to Mississippi. The menu caught my eye for its unique offerings and fair prices. Service was top knotch and food was sooo good. There’s lots of options around, but don’t sleep on this place. And get the fried pickles!“

“Decided to try Christine's today. I'm so glad we did. Chiefs were playing and had just gotten a touchdown as we walked in the door. The house interrupted into cheers and claps. I couldn't resist to bow & wave while thanking everyone for the grand welcome. They all laughed and greeted us with welcoming comments. So much fun. The atmosphere is amazing! I'm sure the game had a role in that, but I loved it. Kevin, our server was excellent. So friendly, attentive, helpful... just wonderful. It was our 36th anniversary and just wanted to find a place with good Bloody Mary's & food. We weren't disappointed. Hubby had a GIGANTIC tenderloin & said it was great. I loved the fried cauliflower and the great BBQ pulled pork sammich. It's a small homey place but those are the best kind of places in my opinion. Also we love that it is fire service related. My husband is a 26 yr firefighter, Captain.“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

I like my wings crispy, and most places don’t make them crispy enough for me even when I ask (no shade, it is what it is). But they always deliver for me at Helen’s! “Their food is always good!!! I love the chicken nachos and is one of my favorite things to eat here. The cheeseburgers are excellent, as well as the tenderloin sandwich! All the food is good and I never walk out hungry! Also, Monday night Bingo is a blast and it's free!“

“Had the cheese fries and they were awesome! Cheese sauce was flavorful (not the same old cheese sauce that others use). The fries stayed crunchy even with the sauce over them. Also had a bacon/cheeseburger that was very flavorful. And of course the giant hot wings. Their homemade blue cheese dipping sauce was very good, not overpowering. Great service even though it got crowded. I Highly recommend!“

“Had some downtime while my vehicle had tire work done next door, so I stopped into Hy-Vee Market Grille for lunch. I was one of 3 people in the restaurant but the waitress was very attentive and took good care to make sure I enjoyed my visit. The burger I ordered was truly delicious - very well-cooked, fresh and juicy. I had ordered tots with it, but she returned to tell me they were out of Tots per the chef - no problem, fries were fine. A few minutes after my burger came, the chef came out with hot tots telling me she had found some.Delightful experience made possible by staff who very obviously take pride in their job. I'll be back!“

“Went with a group if co-workers as a remembrance get together regarding a co-workers lost in the line duty. The atmosphere of the place was open and friendly. The staff was friendly and very attentive to the needs of our big group. It was a Friday evening and it was very busy. The only issue I had was that I had ordered a drink and in the business of the evening, it got overlooked. Other than that, the food was good, service was good on our other orders and the staff was very friendly. If I were to recommend this place I would definitely tell people to get there early so you are not driving around looking for a parking place
Parking: Had to drive around for 10 minutes to even find a parking spot that ended up being almost 2 blocks away“

“I was hired last weekend to Face Paint for Alex's Lemonade Stand Charity. I set my Paints and equipment up in the front of the store .the staff and employees I met were so accomodating and friendly. One of the managers helped us put up an awning. an associate gave me clear directions to the bathroom. I was graciously given a free meal voucher by Kristen Rylie and Manager Disha from the Independence Mo. Hyvee. Also the folks at Starbucks were friendly and helpful as well as the cafeteria staff. All this to say I came away thinking I might like to work there because of all the positive and helpful employees who do work there. they work to please! thank You Independence Mo. HyVee“

“My friend and I had an awesome meal at Dirty Bird Bar & Grill! We both tried their burgers, and they were absolutely incredible—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The toppings were fresh, and the combination of flavors was spot on. We also ordered some appetizers, and they were just as tasty—perfectly seasoned and great for sharing. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with friendly service that made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to!
