“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Johnny’s Restaurant for the first time, and I have to say; I was genuinely impressed. From the moment we sat down, our waitress, Sheila, made the experience exceptional. She was incredibly attentive, always keeping our drinks refilled without us even having to ask. She went the extra mile by offering us drinks to go, which was such a thoughtful touch. Anytime we needed something, she brought it promptly and with a smile never once making it feel like an inconvenience. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out. The food was just as impressive as the service. You can truly tell that everything is homemade. Nothing tasted processed or like it had just been tossed into a fryer, everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a place where you can genuinely taste the quality and care put into each dish, but this restaurant definitely delivers. Overall, our first visit exceeded expectations, and we will absolutely be coming back. “Great food and drinks, I would hands down recommend this place to everyone! I had the walleye with onion rings, it brought me back to my childhood in ND. It was so delicious tender and flakey, best onion rings, and so much food. I didn’t walk away hungry or feeling gross from the fried food, super light and crispy breading. The barrel aged manhattan was awesome!! 10 out of 10 would eat here again and make sure others come try it too!!!“

“We stopped in during the Christmas Candlelight walk. We were not fortunate to know in advance so we did not have dinner, however, the staff was incredible. The ambiance was awesome and we can't wait to go back this spring to enjoy dinner outside!“

“Great place to stop for a burger. The employee at 7am was more than happy to make me a burger.

I would definitely consider stopping by if you're driving through Washington. It's not a crazy different experience or burger, but it is better than most burgers at the same price point.“

“We went here for my daughter's Birthday. We had 6 in our party and they seated us pretty quick. Waitress was awesome. Lacked on ask how we wanted the steaks cooked. I ordered the Prime Rib and it was a little to done for that steak for my taste. Didn't want to wait so ate it anyway but it was still good.

“Went there for lunch today, was helped by Sarah, a new waitress, bubbly personality and very helpful. What I liked the most was her accountability, if she made a mistake she made it right and made sure everything and everyone is okay. a very rare gem in the world. I've always had great service and great food from here. Visit here and you won't be disappointed.“

“Went here after looking up local diners on google, as I try to support family style restaurants when I travel. Walked in and was greeted right away and told to sit where we wanted. Place was pretty full with locals all chatting across tables like a community of friends. I ordered a “three little piggies” omelette and my friend ordered the chicken fried steak. The meal was on our table in under 10 minutes even though the place was packed. My omelette was stuffed to overflowing with meats and the chicken fried steak was almost the size of the plate. My friend also ordered a cinnamon roll to go. When I say this thing was big, that is an understatement. It was the size of a large to go box. Friendly staff, homelike atmosphere, large portions, nicely priced and very tasty. Overall, a great place to eat! Stop by this place if you’re ever in Washington, MO!!!“

“10/10 this place is great! Next time I come I am trying the bison burger!! The staff were amazing and when I mentioned this was my first time here a lovely host named Diane showed me around the different rooms and all the rustic decor. My waitress was so nice and I tried her recommendation of the bread pudding and it was delicious! This is a great place to host parties or gatherings for events and I was informed there is no room rental fee for their large room where they can also set up a buffet for your guests.“

“We frequent the Draft Room for dinner and casual drinks and love their food and atmosphere! We decided to rent out the upstairs for a private party and we are so glad we did! It was the perfect space for a large group and a fun atmosphere for a celebration. Particularly love the various table set ups, private bar and restrooms. Having a ramp to get to the second story is also a huge plus for not only the elderly or handicapped but not having to carry items up and down the stairs was so nice! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our wants and needs. The management, Ashley and Hailey, are probably kindest two people I’ve met in the industry! Downtown Washington is always a great place to go with friends and family. I definitely recommend this restaurant and rental space for any occasion!“

“Not many good restaurants opened in Washington, Missouri on Monday night so this one was recommended. We wanted a steak in Missouri before our airplane flight home. My filet mignon was very tender! My Cesear salad was very fresh. Rolls were good and warm. Our server was very attentive especially since it was not too busy at 6:30pm.
My husband really liked his( Sante fe marinated) steak too with onions strawa on top.“

“We came to celebrate Veterans Day and it was organized extremely well with the local JROTC unit manning the doors, flowers and table decorations donated by Hillerman's, The staff were all wearing specially designed shirts and other decor announcing the special purpose of the evening. The menu featured a variety of options from which veterans could select... It was extremely welcoming even though quite crowded they were efficient and friendly“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
