“Their online ordering site says they have curbside pickup and I parked out front where several signs indicate the number to text for curbside pickup. The response received indicated their pick up staff have been cut and I should come in to get my order. I would not have ordered had I known curbside pickup was unavailable. I called and told a staff member I couldn't come in and requested a refund. She asked me what type car I had and said she would send the order out. It took more than 15 minutes and a second phone call before they brought it out. (Another car pulled up during this time and received curbside delivery while I still waited.)“

“Late in life, I’ve discovered Imo’s Pizza. We get delivery from Imo’s quite a lot. Their chef salads are fantastic, their sandwiches are also very good, the pizzas are a St. Louis tradition, and their spaghetti Bolognese is one of the best kept secrets of St. Louis cuisine. Believe it or not, I’ve had their spaghetti Bolognese multiple times, and every single time it is served perfectly prepared “al dente”. The portion is larger enough. I usually just eat half and save the other half for later. Imo’s has been around a long time. I hope they continue to be a tradition in St. Louis.“

I was working a private event with Blues Fired Pizza on Saturday and as I was closing the truck door to begin prepping and service, a friendly warm voice from an older gentleman said “Hello!” From the side as he was talking to the event coordinator. After shift I stuck around to wander the area and wanted to check out their truck. I met Steve (that friendly warm voice that had greeted me hours before) and he asked me how I was and how we did. Asked me if I’d like to order anything. I was shocked because I didn’t want to assume I could also order- having not been part of the event. I asked if it was okay and he said “Sure! We have to take care of our own!” With a genuine smile on his face. I heard stories of this industry being a cut-throat business. I was more than willing to pay for my pizza but Steve assured me it was okay. (I did drop a tip in their tip can) 🙂 ***** I had the 8" Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Garlic/Ranch Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Jalapeño, Cheddar Cheese and Mozzarella Cheese. (Pictured) It was AMAZING! I’m so tired of these big chain pizza places and I’m sooo happy that I went to Blues Fired Pizza’s truck! The dough was fresh, soft, and had that fire oven taste and crisp. You can tell the dough is made from scratch. I’ve driven past them numerous times in Kirkwood at their little pizza shack… but never stopped in. I’ll be glad to come by and order for sure! “I have had a lot of food from Loafers over the past few years but never had enough information to write a review! They serve a more cafe-style menu during lunch, offering amazing soups, sandwiches and salads. I have eaten lunch at Loafers many times and loved every experience. During dinner service, they serve their amazing pizzas, which I only got to experience for the first time recently. We went with another couple and ended up getting their spinach pizza and their seasonal pizza, which had far too many elements to name. Both pizzas were amazing. The service was great, though they did seem to want to turn the table quickly, understandably, as they are quite busy constantly. Highly recommend this space, as it is not unreasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive.“

“I've heard Blackthorn was the place to go in St. Louis for deep dish pizza. I was not misled! I went for dinner with my cousin and his wife. We got a 16" deep dish with pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers. It was phenomenal! The cheese pull on this thing was ridiculous, so cheesy! Two pieces ko'd me. The crust was perfect! Crispy on the bottom and soft and fluffy directly under the toppings. Perfect for a fork and knife. I'm a huge fan of deep dish pizza, and this will be my go to from now on! Highly recommend!“

“I have dined in and had delivery (twice). All experiences were great. Although the first time I ordered delivery, was Saturday night after the Mardi Gras parade🤦🏼‍♀️. The food took a bit to get here but was still fantastic, and it was 100% my fault for horrible timing. The last delivery was super fast and the food, again, was outstanding. This has quickly become one of my favorite go to places. Dining in, this place is COOL. “I was host to approximately 30 to 35 professional people for an evening. The food was unbelievably delicious; and Taylor attended to us flawlessly. She never missed a beat and got it all right. The atmosphere was great in spite of it being a memorial service. There was a second table almost as large as ours, and there was plenty of room to spare. I had shopped around a few places; none of them seemed compatible for my needs. Mitch was the mgr., and he was great as well. He had asked several times how everything was. I had visited the place once more by myself before my return trip home. Great place, great atmosphere, great food, and great service. If you get the chance, go!!“
