“I belong to a group that is Dudes, Dining & Destinations, and we kind of ambushed this place, Mad Dog and Cats Steak today, sunday August 9th 2026. We had about 25/30 of us. The 2 waitresses we had, Mel B and Kara B were awesome. I had the French Onion Soup and Patty Melt and my friend had the side salad with a beef brisket sandwich. They both came out in a timely manner, was very tasteful and plentiful, even took left overs home even. If you find yourself out in st Charles area sometime , stop by and check them out. Cool little place.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary here, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. “Hosted a friends birthday party in the back room at the Rack House. My friend is gluten free and we had the most delicious gluten free meatballs! All of the food was wonderful. Staff was amazing and attentive. Highly recommend for dinner, or hosting event!“

“It's loud like most Roadhouse restaurants that we have been to. Our waitress was great: courteous, whity, attentive. The specialty burgers were phenomenal. The ground beef was tasty and had a great texture. The sides were yummy.
I would say that the menu was more limited than I expected, but hey stay with what you are good at.“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“I enjoy their Sunday brunch. It's open to the public. Great atmosphere and service. The views over the golf course are very pretty. They do take reservations.

Parking: On a busy Sunday, it can be difficult to find a parking space.

Dietary restrictions: Their Sunday buffet allows you to choose foods to meet your dietary restrictions, but I didn't see any specific accommodations being made otherwise. For example, no gluten-free waffles or Danish were offered.“

“We had a 6 top on Friday April 17 at 6pm in Royal Oak. Danielle was our server, she was nice, polite and quick. The 1 appetizer for another couple came with their dinner. 4 of the six people got their meals. About 5 mins later our 2 burgers came. Both prepared wrong (order was 1 burger as is on menu, 1 burger with only pickles). Both were sent back. Waitress came over, realized we didn't have our meal, apologized. 5 mins later a manager came over and said our meal would be out soon. As our friends were just about finished with their meals, our burgers finally came, about 15 mins too late. Burgers were fine. Nothing to brag about, I ate half because I had lost my appetite. When the bill came, nothing was comped or reduced in price. My husband paid the bill and I was pretty PO'ed at him that he actually paid it without asking for some sort of discount. The steak ordered by a friend was super salty, and the chicken on the salad was dry. I know they have kinks to work out, but the place and food isn't really much to brag about.“

“Moudy’s is a typical strip mall bar and grill. Good place to stop for a beer and sandwich. We had grinders which was the reason we went. They were ok but I thought a bit thin on the meat and cheese. Bonus points because they post the draft beers so you don’t have to try and see the taps or ask waitstaff and then need to make quick decisions.“

I decided I wanted a piece of cheesecake to go after she gave us the receipt in the folder and she never came back for me to tell her. I asked another server who directed me to the bar. Ordered and it took ten minutes to get it. Normally I wouldn’t mind but we had my MIL with us in her wheelchair. It came and was the Tiniest piece of cheesecake I’ve ever been served for $10 😳. I would recommend skipping dessert and go buy a whole cheesecake at Dierbergs next door for the same price and less wait.“

“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“Okay….. so every time I come to a Waffle House and order a waffle, my expectations are pretty low, because….. it’s a Waffle House. Decent food, decent prices and you always know what to expect (service is usually good, too).

But at this place, apparently they have the “new” waffle irons. I ordered a waffle and it was fantastic!!! Light, fluffy, THICK, tasty! Definitely worth a stop for breakfast!

Heide was our server and she was friendly, courteous and heppful!

Next time we pass through St. Louis, this will be a place we stop!
