We added the garlic butter and Cajun cream sauce - another win win. The au gratin potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. The only suggestion I have is that some bread for the table would have been nice , but not a deal breaker. Great value, great atmosphere and the food was wonderful.”

“Nine ladies had a fabulous evening at The Chimneys. All of the staff were attentive. The setting was relaxing. The waitress was exceptional. And the food was fabulous. I had a bowl of one of the best gumbos I have had recently. And for my entree I had the eggplant with shrimp and crab — this is an appetizer but was large enough for an entree. To round it off a Mississippi Mud Cake hit the spot.”

“I had almost stopped coming here completely. The service was horrible and you would have to argue to get your sandwich the way you wanted it.
However about two weeks ago my wife was telling me how this new guy had completely changed the atmosphere.
Well I took a chance followed her. Upon entering I noticed a big difference!
We were greeted and welcomed in. Then I met Mr. Reginald!!!!! While preparing our order he interacted with us as if learning preferences, all the while taking the greatest care with our food.
It is so amazing how one person can makes such a difference. This morning Ms. Nini was working also. She says this is her fifth day, but she seems like a professional to me.
While eating I really enjoyed watching Reginald and Nini's interactions with the other customers as they came in.
As long as Mr. Reginald is here this will continue to be my first stop for a quick meal!!!!!”

The workers do what they can, it's not their fault they have to work at a fast pace, the A/C has been out for a couple of weeks now, so excuse them for not having perky attitudes and such, most of them are trying not to catch a heat stroke. And there's literally a Burger King, Dairy Queen, Popeyes, A Donut Shop, Half Shell, Downtowner, and Dodges down the street, nobody's putting a gun to your head and forcing you to come to McDonalds, most of these negative reviews are from people who are too lazy to cook at home. 🤷🏾‍♀”

The one thing that totally turned me off about this Cracker Barrel is the new design which takes away from the reason we go there. That being said , I won’t go out of my way to eat there again.”
