“Had the fried pork chops and fried cat fish. Their food is seasoned with love. It's seasoned to perfection. I definitely will be back. As a New Orleans native living in Mississippi places like this make me happy. There is good food here“

“Got the Cajun pasta with redfish - it exceeded my expectations! Fish was cooked perfect and that pasta sauce was the star! Left a clean plate! We also tried the gumbo...was so good I got a half order to go! Definitely will be returning to try more!“

“I absolutely love Valley St Fish, when I have a fish craving this is my go to place. The only thing I dislike is that this place has probably been in business since before I was born and they have don’t no upgrades to the building or parking. You would think with all these centuries of being in business they would make some improvements to the place. You also have to have life insurance to park and cross the street to get to the building as traffic is horrendous. Other than this it’s the best fish place in the city.“

“The food kinda taste like old grease. I spent $50 dollars on our food and it all tasted the same...Like old grease. This is the only time I have EVER had bad food here. I hope they will be better the next time I come or I will not be back.“

“Absolutely the finest in the area / staff is wonderful / owner is always on hand and is one of the finest in the area / I have eaten in the finest restaurants from Chicago to the west coast none can compare with the service and food !!! And has the best coffee anywhere / onion rings with every order if you want!!! Music is mostly oldies and at level so you can talk to your partner while enjoying the restaurant - I have been eating there for over 30 years - nothing has changed - he has a 7ft security guard that can make you feel very safe. You just have to try it if you have not, you would be missing a great and memorable outing“

“I went on 9-3-2025 at 11:15AM & lemme tell u… the food was amazing!! I was out the door in less than 20 mins! I got the seafood bag that’s 1 crab, half lb shrimp, mussels with sausage & potatoes!! The crab claw was huge 👌🏾 im shook cause we live in the age of newborn crab clusters being served at restaurants 😩 but there’s was huge & idk how to explain it but the crab was sweet & seasoned nicely ☺️I’m in love, I’ll be back next week ❤️👌🏾 don’t sleep on this place, get there now ‼️“

“The food was amazing! Service on the other hand was not. We were greeted by hostess, when a server came by and said she could be sat. So we were seated immediately after walking in, but we sat without drinks for 7-8 mins. We weren't greeted by our server. She just immediately asked if we were ready to order. My brother and my boyfriend sat without drinks for basically their entire meals. We will be going back, I just hope service is better next time.“

“Got a chicken on a stick dinner and a catfish dinner with fries and hushpuppies. The chicken on a stick was a nice size and good. Catfish and hushpuppies were really good. The fries were the seasoned kind, which were also good. Food was cooked to order, so it was a 10-15 min wait.“
