“A small group of us were visiting the U.S. from Sunderland, in the North East of England, and were travelling from Memphis to New Orleans. As it does, hunger kicked in and were didn't have any idea where to eat. Would it be safe? or would it be good food? etc. We see all sorts on British television! 😂. We needn't have worried, other patrons spoke to us, after hearing our accents and were very friendly. Martha, one of the staff, took great care of us, explained everything and made us feel at home. I don't kniw if i'll ever be down that way again, but we only have good memories. Please pass on our best wishes to Martha and everyone else at the restaraunt.“

“Tried this location out because of my love of the state line rd. spot. The food was consistent and delicious. I adore the hot sauced wings and seasoned fries. Would love to give 5 stars, but those half full cups of ranch do not do it. Gotta spend an extra dollar just to add two half cups together to make one whole. It is nice in there though, and clean.“

“This place has amazing custard. We used to stop here all of the time when we lived in Memphis. Be careful, because the portions are extremely generous, I always order the smallest size available or I will have too much food. I tried the burgers, cheese cubes, and corn nuggets (off the "vegetables" menu). All of them were delicious and well proportioned portion sizes; very high quality burger flavor and the breading on the cheese cubes was like a cheddar bay biscuit.“

“Woke up with excruciating back pains and couldn’t cook my Sunday meal as usual, but I was blessed to discover a hidden gem in Southaven that lifted my spirits! I’m not big on eating out because I don’t like canned foods, but this place was a breath of fresh air! As I walked in, I was greeted with the uplifting sounds of gospel music, which was a wonderful surprise! While waiting in line, I was treated with a warm smile and an apology for the wait, which wasn’t even long! As I stood there, waiting to be served, I was inspired by the scriptures on the wall, which reminded me of the power of faith! Before even tasting the food, I could tell it was made with love and care! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional! I have found the perfect place for my soul food fix when I need a little pick-me-up! Thank you Angela’s Delight for a truly uplifting experience! I will be back!“

“We had Mr. Thomas as a server. He was kind, attentive and personable. This place had one of the best filet mignons available. It was cooked to perfection. 10 for 10 my husband and I would definitely recommend this place. This is our second time here and the staff it always so pleasant to interact with.“

“I stumbled across this gem after I decided to do my reading at a more lively scenery in my free time. I don't drink but they made sure to accommodate me and substitute for coffee, which I am a heavy drinker of.
Staff there is amazing not just because it's their job , but because they enjoy being there.
I'm not really great at engaging conversation but the staff there welcomed me and genuinely interested in getting to know their customers.

“Great food at all locations (I’ve been eating at the original on Madison since 1978). We ate lunch in Southaven today with our 3 year old granddaughter. Servers brought her crayons and a coloring sheet; also brought her order (mac & cheese) as soon as it was ready. (ours wasn’t ready yet). This is now one of only about three places we’ll take her and her 8 year old sister to eat. Child friendly and real food (not frozen and microwaved*) * The mac and cheese is packaged Kraft; that’s a good thing, since neither g’child will eat anything *but* Kraft ❤️“

“Hi I am the general manager whom this young lady is speaking on. I would like to first began by saying I am food safety certified and is very aware of cross contamination. I can't believe if this was the case why didn't you just say sir are you going to change your gloves? I am very professional and it is my desire to serve the public safe food. I am a little disturbed that someone would take a shoe tie this far. We always use tongs when handling food and change gloves regularly when handling raw food in the back kitchen. We have an A from the health department visit to the restaurant. Praises to God the restaurant is doing extremely well and present customers are very happy. Thanks!!“

“This new location is absolutely beautiful the sitting, and ambience is perfect. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent as well!! My only issue which is nothing at all like the location in Collierville, is that evidently they don’t do the wine sampling to choose what you want with your protein. After speaking with the GM and her having a lack of knowledge of the history of the wine selection or the sampling process I found that odd. I frequent the other location quite often, and haven’t ran into this issue before. I’m hoping that it’s just because they’re new, and will get things in order soon. Thanks guys beautiful place with a welcoming bar staff.“

“Sometimes sitting at the bar turns out to be a fantastic experience. Tried the New York Strip instead of the usual ribeye. This is a better choice. Flavorful, no fat or gristle. Baked potato with extra butter and a Cesar salad added to the evening.“

“The place is nice. Staff was friendly. The service a bit slow, but I guess if was their busy time. I paid with cash and there was some confusion when they had to give me back my change. It got somewhat sorted out in the end.
Atmosphere was nice, but the air conditioning was too cold. After the second bite, the food wasn't hot anymore. I like my food as hot as it can be, so I ended up asking for a box, took it home and reheated it later.“

“Samantha was our waitress and was also tending bar. She was the only person in the front of the house. She was literally jogging around making sure everyone was getting their orders in and serving drinks. She was so enthusiastic and pleasant even though she was working her a** off and still maintained a very pleasant personality. Thanks much Samantha!!!“

“This is my primary Waffle House I go to. Everyone always nice and speak regardless if they are serving you.
I mainly go early afternoon and enjoy my meal. Will get to go on Saturday and love to see the busy pace of the cooks at the grill

“The location on Pepper Chase is amazing! Cordero and Staff is so kind. I left a negative review for the state line location, pepper chase is a completely different vibe and definitely worth the extra few minutes drive. Food is fresher too, you can tell they take pride in their work!“

“If you go here expect to wait a while to be seated and on your food. The food is ok. Nothing special. Fries and baked potato were better than the steak. The only reason I even give red lobster a positive review is our server. I think her name was Madison. She was great. But if it wasn’t for her I would go much lower with this score.“
