“We had the absolute best experience with Scotty’s smokehouse! We had to reschedule our event due to inclement weather and they made the process so easy and adjusting their schedule to accommodate us! Now to the food! We had a selections of their appetizers for our event and it’s not hard to please some hungry firefighters but the food we had from Scotty’s was absolutely amazing!! We would absolutely recommend and use them again for future events!! We can’t thank you enough for taking care of our firefighters!!”

“The Parish has become our favorite Hernando restaurant. The owner (who does not know us) is clearly an accomplished chef. I can’t brag about this place enough: The food is tremendous! The front of house manager, Barry, is nothing but first rate, could not be more accommodating, and is always very attentive to diners’ needs. Then, there’s the wait staff. We only know a few of them by name: Sarah, Caitlyn, Kelly…but they are likely the best servers in DeSoto County! If you haven’t been, we suggest you try the following: Crab-stuffed grouper, BBQ Shrimp, the boudin-stuffed pork chop - likely the best thing on the menu!, blackened grouper…The onion rings are the best we’ve ever had! Desert? Get that bread pudding! It is OMG good! I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service since they opened and we eat there almost every week.”

Every time we enter the restaurant, they make Myself and the other people that's normally with me feel like they have known us forever. You have a group that always makes sure to stop by. Taylor T "Tonka" is the main server that takes care of us. She doesn't even have to ask what we would like to eat she already knows. Now that speaks volume with the number of customers she deals with on a daily or even weekly. Then you have Shannon she is just as great as Taylor "Tonka". She always assures us that Taylor is not here but will make sure she handles us just as we are always treated. Those are two of the best servers I have come across in a long time. Now let's talk management You have a manager name Brook and Morganne that always tells us that we enjoy seeing us walk in the building. Most managers don't take time to get to know you but not these two. I tell everyone about the service we receive from these four is by far more than any kind of experience you can get at any restaurant.”

“It took way too long & the wait was because the guy at the window couldn’t figure out the credit card terminal. But he offered a bottled water as we’d been in line in the drive thru over 15 minutes trying to pay. Thankfully we were not in a time crunch. But he also offered us a dozen of variety cookies for the inconvenience!! That’s excellent customer service.”

“Okay can we just talk about the vibe. Perfect place to study especially if your in high school. They play calming music on the tv. They have cute little games like chess and pole in the back. The seats are comfortable and they have boba squishmallows . Everything is perfect there. They have cute little breakfast treats. I got the vanilla Boba tea and it was so good. The deal for the boba is absolutely adorable. They also gave me a free boba necklace”

I’m not big on eating out because I don’t like canned foods, but this place was a breath of fresh air! As I walked in, I was greeted with the uplifting sounds of gospel music, which was a wonderful surprise! While waiting in line, I was treated with a warm smile and an apology for the wait, which wasn’t even long! As I stood there, waiting to be served, I was inspired by the scriptures on the wall, which reminded me of the power of faith! Before even tasting the food, I could tell it was made with love and care! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional!
