I'm not even a big red beans n rice fan, but that's how good this dish is. The staff are very friendly and personable. Food comes out hot and fast. Really unique mardi-gras-style atmosphere. “I loved everything about this establishment. The only complaint I have is the hostess took a call and proceeded to engage whoever was on the phone leaving use standing without be addressed for several minutes. Aside from that everything else was TOP TIER!!! This is A new favorite spot to dine. Everything we ate was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The service provided by Amanda was phenomenal, she was very attentive and oh so kind. The staff engaged often with the customers making sure all was well throughout the course of dinning. We started with the eggplant and shrimp and grits both were amazingly delicious! Followed by the house salad and bread and then our entrees....I had the Redfish 😋and my daughter chose the Salmon. Both were superb!“

“We have visited Amerigo's a few times (at all 3 locations) and are always pleased with the service, food quality, and professionalism of the staff. Jawon at the Ridgeland location recently waited our table and did an exceptional job with providing good recommendations and sharing his great personality. The Chicken Parm is always my go to, and they also provide a great drink menu. We are big fans of the Amerigo's chain and hope that it continues to uphold to the standards it has set! Great work.“

“On May 25th we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The food and atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely go back but I do not want Adam as my waiter ever again. The issue that I have with Adam as our waiter is this. When he passed by our table my husband put his finger up letting him know that we needed him. He brushed my husband off and told him that he would be back and he went on to other tables. When he finally came back through he didn’t stop like he said he would he passed by our table and went to another table. At first I was like ok but it kept happening. And every time Adam passed by he looked right at me in my eyes. So now we’re ready to go so we’re waiting and waiting because he told us that he would be back. Well when he came back he passed us up again and eventually my husband had to stop him and give him the check. We gave him our payment with a $20 tip but at first I wasn’t going to leave one but I said no I’m gonna do what’s right. But now I regret even leaving it. After he walked off we waited and waited and I noticed him walking to another table he looked me right in my eyes. And my thought process was like ok we gave him the money now clear us out so we can go. Another waiter walked by because he noticed me looking for our waiter we told him what was going on and we asked him if he can let Adam know to please give us our receipt. Adam then walked straight from the table where the other customer was and gave us our receipt. I thought to myself he had it on him all this time why did he let us wait this long to give us the receipt we could’ve been gone? I was going to make a complaint when I walked out but I was like no I’m going to write a review because I was ready to go because I was very irritated at this point.“
