“Stopped over after doing laundry next door and felt like we were home. We were welcomed by Brent, Shawna and Kevin and made to feel like a local. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar, shared stories with them all and enjoyed our morning, bought some merchandise to proudly wear on our trip and left feeling welcomed. Great local long standing establishment. They have keno machines, karaoke some nights and horseshoes out back. Couldn’t think of any better way to start off our 4th of July.“
“Haggard, the bartender was amazing! The BEST bartender we’ve ever had. He delayed his smoke breaks to take our group photo and also to take our second drink order. He’s very responsible and checked every single one of our IDs. The regulars, that’s a different story by he assured us they were of age. 100% recommend, we’ll definitely be back.“

“Old Salt!
Update: Okay, so Old Salt is great, and The Gold Bar/Western are also pretty cool. I don't typically go to bars, but I do go to Old Salt all the time and I've never felt like Gold/Western was not the right place for Old Salt. I like a beer with my burgers, so ya, its absolutely a good fit.
Gold Bar, you are an awesome place for a midday burger and beer. Thanks for responding and forcing me to be more specific in my review.“
