“This place in my opinion is the best of Brevard. The service is impeccable , the French inspired food is served in large portions, at a nominal cost. The chef is French, so that explains why the food is so good, do not pass up the opportunity to eat here, make reservations.“

“We had the most amazing experience at The Square Root!!!! We walked up and were literally greeted with “your dogs are so cute we all hoped you were coming here” we sat outside and the patio dining is just gorgeous and cozy! The service is impeccable and the food I cannot even say enough about the London broil sandwich and chicken Marsala! Holy moly we were blown away! Also, just a huge heartfelt thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us as a storm came up and we were “stuck” outside because we had dogs with us but they asked us to please come inside and let us stand by the bar for safety sake. Jacob the manager was just so kind and Chris our server was so on point and cool!!! We cannot recommend The Square Root enough - just go - the food is better than the hype! Thanks again!!! We will be back as soon as we can!“

“We sat at the bar on a Sunday night when some other establishments were closed. Those at the bar are served by the bar tender. My wife had the burger special and I had the sirloin steak on baguette with peppers and onions. Huge portions, a good beer selection on tap and in can/bottles. Food arrived quickly and the service at the bar was excellent, bartender knowledgeable about the area, history, Pisgah National Forest etc. Place has a local feel to it. Definitely will be back.“

“we had lovely windows seating tonight and our service was exceptional. Our food was made exactly as ordered. Since my husband and I could not decide between the steak or the snapper, we ordered an extra entree and got it all and shared the extra. The Snapper was absolutely delicious. I am so glad we did that as if we hadnt, we'd have missed out. Then the delicious berry pie to top it off. This is one date night that may never get beat as far as food quality, service, and hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We enjoyed it very much.“
