“I almost wanted to give it a 1 star to scare people away. This place may be my new favorite in the triangle. Super authentic and super cool atmosphere. Everything was excellent from food to drinks. Super small so expect a wait and small kitchen so it takes a while. Worth the wait!“

“This is a great sushi place. I did not expect the prices to be that high, but that is on me for not looking first. So be forewarned. I am used to 2 pieces of sushi being $5-10, but it was $17 here. All that said, the food was excellent and place was packed. Worth the money in my opinion.
The $32 lunch combo was a good bit of food and the sushi is on par with higher end places you find in major cities.
The rainbow roll and spider roll were great. The yellowtail and fatty tuna were also superb.

“Pleasantly surprised at how good my lunch was today! At first I thought the menu lacked variety but the quality and taste really made up for it! I ordered the hibachi steak lunch and a side of miso soup and it was made Fresh! The veggies were so crunchy and the steak was cooked just right. The miso soup came boiling hot and everything just tasted not too greasy. The portion size was large enough for me to have leftovers for the next day. For $14 you can’t beat it. Highly recommend to check them out! By the way the decor is adorable! Super instagram worthy and it’s a husband and wife shop too!“

“I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and was welcomed in to eat☺ The ambience is so beautiful and relaxing. Nice soft music 🎶, delicious food !!! Reasonably priced too! Even my waiter was very happy to serve me, which is the way, customer service should be…especially when you are paying your hard earned money 💰“

“I’ve already been to Hibachi 88 twice in the past two weeks, and I can honestly say it’s quickly becoming a favorite! The steak hibachi and chicken skewers are amazing. Tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portions are generous, and for only about $17 you get a LOT of food, which is such a great value. Both times I left full and impressed. Definitely recommend if you’re craving hibachi without breaking the bank!“

“Best sushi in Raleigh area hands down! I miss the Korean menu items but understand Covid and inflation makes it hard for small businesses to not change and adapt! We drive forty minutes for the sushi too!“

“I am very picky when it comes to me finding some hibachi. This place was very very good to me! I can not believe I was travel far out to get some good hibachi when this place was 3mins from me. I’ve missed out on some good hibachi for 3yrs😔. I will be back“
