“We finally tried Seaboy!! Everyone had only great things to say about this place! So glad we went last Thursday!! What a great experience!!! From the moment we walked in we loved it!! We were warmly greeted, no reservation, but promptly accommodated us—seated us at the Chef’s Bar! We really enjoyed watching them create wonderful dishes!! Everything we ordered was delicious and so beautifully presented!! The owner/chef was very friendly! Our server was extremely nice too! He brought us a complimentary glass of champagne when we were seated. Pretty vintage glasses.🥂 We had yellowfin and the octopus to start. Delicious!! My entrée, the cod, was YUM!! No complaints whatsoever!! Everyone was beyond nice and accommodating!! It’s a small space—cozy—suggest reservations. Seaboy is now on our FAVE LIST!! We will definitely be back!! Just love this place!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We have been back several times since it changed from the former management and our experience gets better each time. Tonight we went with 6 adults and 2 young kids and from appetizers to dessert, the meal and service were perfect. Our server, Izzy, was patient and thorough in explaining the drink and food menu questions we had, and was extremely playful and interactive with our very curious and talkative 5 year old grandson. We enjoyed the Mediterranean trio, smoked salmon, and burrata appetizers. The steaks, chicken, seafood and pasta entrees were all delicious. ALL the desserts were fabulous. What a great experience! We will be back!”

“This cafe/bakery is one of the best in Charlotte . The artisan breads , croissants , coffee are of superior quality. The breads are made with French flour which means it has not been ruined by glyphosate ,like here in the US . ( EU bans glyphosate ). Come by and enjoy !!”

“Awesome (if sometimes eccentric) beers with a VERY large selection. They have something for everyone: Stouts, IPAs, Lagers, Sours. Very chill vibe, almost like the basement rec room. My wife loves the Vienna Lager, I usually get one of the Porters or Stouts, or my old standby Ass Clown IPA.”

“I welcome this new place. It is very convenient. The salads and Mezze platter are nice, The gyros and Pita sandwiches are average. Tonight for my take-away order which included my "traditional lamb gyro", there were way too many onions, too much tzatziki sauce, the lamb seemed a bit undercooked, and the pita seemed to be just out of a package and my "hand-cut fries were very soggy. Al though they were part of a take-away order, they were just ordered very shortly before. I believe that this place will be around for a long time as to the novice, it is very good. I am just a picky person that has been lots of places and eaten at lots of places as well. I wish the best of luck. I will still be eating there occasionally, but more salads and things like the mezze platter.”

“We eat at Maola’s pretty regularly and it never disappoints. We have brought many friends there and they always want to know when we’re going back. Every dish is delicious and we’ve decided that we’re just going to go down the menu because we can never decide what to get. In addition to the consistently delicious food, this review is mostly to rave about our server last night, Anna. She was friendly, informative, knowledgeable about the menu, helpful and very accommodating to one of our party’s allergies. We’re planning to go back with a group of 8 in two weeks. Can’t wait to decide what to try next.”

“I’m from NY so my bar for great pizza is high. I was skeptical about pizza from a truck but after reading reviews thought I’d give it a try. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Absolutely delicious! Every component hit the mark. Quick turnaround and Mike was super nice, too. Keep up the good work, Mike!”

“My wife and I had the Dragon bowl and the Acerola smoothie. Both were absolutely delicious! The bowls were bigger than others we have had in the area and the fruit was so fresh that I thought they were growing it in the back! Jessica and Mike are the best and they are so welcoming that you feel like you have known them for years. Next time, and there will be MANY more next times, I'm going to add cacao nibs. I think the chocolate would add another mood boosting layer to my already insanely healthy breakfast. This kept me going all the way to lunch and I even skipped coffee! I can't wait to go back to Seaboard Station Palm Berries and try the next bowl.”

“We had our wedding after-party at Dive Bar Cornelius and it was EPIC! The space had something for everyone - from the games and photo booth to the dance floor and outdoor patio. The bartenders were awesome and kept the drinks flowing. And they let us bring in Cook Out catering for everyone.

It was the perfect spot and such a fun way to keep the celebration going! Huge thank you to Kevin, Robbie, and the entire bar team for helping us make this night unforgettable! Cannot wait to come back!”

“We’ve been coming to Pho Nam for years and it’s one of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently great, and the staff are incredibly friendly! They truly make you feel like family when you come in. We love the chicken pho, spicy house chicken, and chicken fried rice. My kids even beg to come here and the staff is quick to suggest kid friendly options and alterations.”

“Just grabbed some pretty fantastic food from this food truck tonight. We got the 1/2 lb beef which came with coleslaw, bread, Yuca fries and three sauces. Absolutely fantastic! The owner was so amazing and separated the bread (I have Celiac disease) from the rest of the food. Only regret was not ordering more food. Half a pound was not enough for us lol”

“Mostly great, but the last two times when I get my order to work it hasn’t been correct. I was charged extra but did not receive them. Also when I schedule a pick up time and get to the store to pick it up there isn’t anyone up front to give me my order and I had to wait and on several occasions I had to yell for someone to hear me and come up to give me my order. This has made me late for work many times.”

“I got the club sandwhich and my husband got some bbq. We both enjoyed our stop at mac’s on our road trip. Food was really good especially my sandwhich I ended up leaving my plate empty.”

“First, the food was excellent. We were there for $1 wing night, and trust, these are some of the best smoked wings I have ever had. My only complaint is that you order sauces, and the wings don’t come sauced, you have to dip the wings in the sauce, which is awkward to eat, especially if sharing, so make sure you ask for individual sauces. We also ordered the hotdog for our daughter, it comes with fries, but they happily substituted it for Mac & cheese, which was good as well. If I was an adult ordering this Mac & Cheese, it could easily be elevated if they added a crispy cheese and bread crumb top layer.

Second, I went to a brewery and felt compelled to talk about the food first, so that is why it is a 4 star and not a 5 star. The beer was okay, but the wonkiness of the service and the absolutely uncomfortable low top chairs, made this a place not top of the list for breweries in the area. I am not surprised by counter service only at a brewery, but I am surprised when I visit a brewery with a restaurant menu then for them to only provide counter service. Once you get your food, counter service makes it inconvenient having to walk away from your party and food to wait in a line at the counter to order your next beer. They need to have a digital solution, where you can order beers through an app, or have someone that walks around and clears glasses and asks if the table needs anymore beer.

I was really impressed that the chef came out of the kitchen to ask us about our meal and gave us some insight on the menu and how the food is prepared. Now imagine if the brewery had someone walking around talking to guests and informing them of the beer options, flavors, and upcoming seasonal batches. What a difference that would have made. But also, those low top table chairs are garbage, I cannot stress that enough. Will we come back to Lost Worlds? maybe…, those wings were so darn good, and now I want to try other menu items.

Ps. We have a 5 year old, so simply moving to a high top table for comfort is not a great option.”

“Stopped in after a yoga session and appreciated how impeccably clean the facility was—especially the restroom, which was spotless. There was plenty of seating available with a mix of high and low tables, making it a comfortable space to relax.

Service was fast with no wait, which was great. However, my order was made incorrectly—I asked for a Caesar salad and was given a Cesar burrito. When I mentioned the mistake, the cashier insisted that’s what I ordered. They did remake it, but there was no apology, which was disappointing.

My friend ordered the green detox smoothie. I’ve had that smoothie at many places and usually enjoy it, but I wasn’t a fan of their version.

Overall, the food was good, and I’d return to support a locally owned business—but customer service could definitely be improved.”
