“I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, locally made sourdough bread, teas and coffees and much more… I enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice and dogs are welcome. Hands down, my favorite!”

“We visit oak island every year and I have never tried Burney’s until today. My son and I picked out multiple items and the woman who helped us asked if we’d ever been there before. When I said no, she gave us a glazed croissant to try for free! It was delicious, I ended up purchasing another w/buttercream icing filling and it was so good. Everything I purchased was great and was gone before the end of the day. Already planning to go back tomorrow before we have to head home :)”

Josh was a dream to work with, was attentive to all of our requests and even worked to make sure that we stayed within our budget. The food was delicious, he was friendly and outgoing with our guests, and he even pitched in a hand to clean up at the end which was completely above and beyond! Can’t wait to work with them again. “Have lived down here for 5 years. This is the first time we came to Oliver's, and we were not disappointed.! The food was amazing. The server jacqueline, really hustled and bustled with a smile on her face and very, very sweet! My husband is a diabetic and also on dialysis, and has to watch his intake on certain things. And they did his French fries without salt, like we asked, and instead of frying the catfish, he baked it . If I could give jacqueline, a higher than 5 stars. I would .”

“I have been a big fan of Mo’s Pizza for years. Today I tried some other menu options and was completely blown away. The pasta and marinara are excellent. The vegetables are well prepared and fresh. They are not heavily sauced but rely on their natural flavor. The roasted potatoes were exceptional. Service was very friendly, prompt and professional. A real plus is being able to get a first rate meal without having to sit in traffic for an hour. Plenty of free parking more bonus points! Highly recommended!”

“We made reservations, which is definitely for the best during tourist season and likely all year. The table wasn't quite ready, so we grabbed drinks at the bar and they noted our reservation in order to add to that bill. The bartenders were friendly and working fast. All the food was delicious and our waitress did a wonderful job.”

“Went here with my family party of 14 for Thanksgiving Buffet and had a great experience. As someone with the a dairy and gluten allergy they accommodated my needs and my daughters! They also have a GF menu. The waiter was super nice she checked the items to make sure I could eat them and even brought me GF and Dairy Free waffles that was not part of the thanksgiving buffet menu. The chef came to check on us a couple of times which was really nice! Great service and food! Thank you!!!”

“One of our favorite places to eat down at Southport. The staff is always so friendly and the view is spectacular. The wait is usually 20-40 mins depending on the time of day. We usually get there for a late lunch.”
