We randomly stumbled on this place after hiking in the morning and looking for a parking place near downtown Boone on a busy Monday before the 4th of July. It was the middle of the afternoon but the place still had a decent crowd, including what looked like some regulars. We sat at the bar, and I ordered a local beer while my wife had a Guinness. This was my second visit to try to give an opportunity to correct the first.Well the first was not bad. The service could have been better. Food was good. Warm and came out relatively quick.The second trip after waiting a half hour we finally left having not seen a waitress had a drink order taken while other people that had arrived after us or being served food.There will be no third strike

Great place to go, even better when school is out. Fun atmosphere, lots of TV’s and great drink selection. The menu beyond the regular, boring bar food. We just got some appetizers on this trip with an awesome $4.00 Bloody Mary. Great local place to have in Boone. Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese bites are excellent. The urinal is worth the trip to the men’s room.
