“I’ve been enjoying Village Tavern for over 25 years—whether celebrating with friends and family or simply stopping in for a casual meal. It’s one of those rare places where I know I can always count on a consistently great meal and warm, attentive service.

There’s truly not a bad seat in the house. The indoor dining area is cozy and welcoming, and I especially love the outdoor patio when the weather’s nice. The large bar inside is perfect for socializing or networking, with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. It’s a spot that’s friendly to both families and singles, and the staff always makes everyone feel at home.

Some of my favorites include the fish tacos, meatloaf, and carrot cake—each one consistently delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of parking, which makes every visit easy and enjoyable.

Village Tavern has been part of so many memories over the years, and I’m grateful it continues to be a place I can return to with confidence and joy.“

“I highly recommend The Farmer's Table. I live in Yadkinville, NC and the company I work for has a ant in Reidsville, so every time I go there, it's a standing policy that we are going to TFT for lunch! I always get chicken livers, mashed potatoes, (both with gravy of course), Cole slaw, and the big ole "cat head biscuits". I've had none better anywhere! I was there recently and two elderly ladies were sitting at a nearby table and hear me ordering. They asked if the livers were good and I told them they wouldn't be sorry if they ordered them. As I was leaving, one of them stopped me and thanked me for the recommendation. she said she hadn't had chicken livers in many, many years and they were extremely delicious and she would be ordering them again! Anyway, the service and food is always great and I'll be back every time I get to come to Reidsville!“

“At first, I was a little worried about how the service was going to be. The energy was a little awkward walking in. It was late so I figured maybe some of the staff had a long day & I thought no more of it. Our waitress was super sweet! My mother’s food was the last & late to come out but we were too busy entertaining each other to really notice. The manager came over, apologized, & told my Mom that it was on the house which was super unexpected. Everyone’s food was great. We will be back. Thank you.“

“Our waiter was rubbing some girls' hair and scalp for 3-4 minutes before coming to serve us. two of our party of 5 were there for lunch. the waiter did not wash his hands and we were disgusted. we did not say anything as I decided to make a written comment at home. He also did not write down our orders saying he had been doing this a long time and didn't need to write down the orders. My friend and I were not happy about him rubbing the friend's hair and scalp in front of customers. thank you“

“Fun bar! Had a DJ with a dance floor. Good bar service. Id like to go back its such a cool place with a good location in downtown. Best for groups of max 4-6 considering the seating arrangement have high tables for 4 people and maybe one big table that I remember. Beer had a large selection on tap. Great experience overall!“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“

“I had breakfast with my family and it was delicious. We ordered the Holey Donuts cheesecake with Nutella, double bacon parmesan hash, frittata rustica, kale tonic, and power breakfast quinoa bowl, acai superfood bowl, and coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious. The only thing was that the double bacon parmesan hash was slightly salty. The service was incredible, and the atmosphere is perfect for sharing a great breakfast. Highly recommended.“
