I live in Yadkinville, NC and the company I work for has a ant in Reidsville, so every time I go there, it's a standing policy that we are going to TFT for lunch! I always get chicken livers, mashed potatoes, (both with gravy of course), Cole slaw, and the big ole "cat head biscuits". I've had none better anywhere! I was there recently and two elderly ladies were sitting at a nearby table and hear me ordering. They asked if the livers were good and I told them they wouldn't be sorry if they ordered them. As I was leaving, one of them stopped me and thanked me for the recommendation. she said she hadn't had chicken livers in many, many years and they were extremely delicious and she would be ordering them again! Anyway, the service and food is always great and I'll be back every time I get to come to Reidsville!“

“Our waiter was rubbing some girls' hair and scalp for 3-4 minutes before coming to serve us. two of our party of 5 were there for lunch. the waiter did not wash his hands and we were disgusted. we did not say anything as I decided to make a written comment at home. He also did not write down our orders saying he had been doing this a long time and didn't need to write down the orders. My friend and I were not happy about him rubbing the friend's hair and scalp in front of customers. thank you“

“I like this bar & grill as an occasional visit spot. Good food and beer selection. Good sports bar/hangout atmosphere. The service can generally be okay, but 1 bartender really needed to suck it up and be less attitudinal and impatient with another patron on the last visit. As a witness to the whole situation, she definitely was not being hospitable or attentive to some patrons. I get it. All of us have stressful days, but you have to leave it behind for each new customer and show your best face because it isn't for you (other than tips) but for the business.“

Due to an event that closed a few streets downtown, we arrived a bit early but received a warm welcome and were able to be seated right away. Our amazing server, Art, was very knowledgeable of the entire menu - both for & wine, and had written out a list of items we needed to stay clear of due to a food allergy. We never went without but wasn't smothered by anyone's presence. We thoroughly enjoyed the last day of the summer menu by stepping out of it comfort zones with a few choices and look forward to going back!“

The burgers and fries were great, and the appetizers were good. My steak was cooked as I wanted, but a bit chewy, still had good flavor. The shrimp were a bit overcooked for my taste and the mashed taters were bland. The boneless wings appeared to have been cooked hours earlier, reheated and served, as they were hard and chewy. We are not Applebee's people, but chose this location as we were close and hungry. Would we come back? Probably yes. Price wise, for a family of four, four entrees, four drinks and two appetizers, $110.00... not bad.“

The meat did lack on size, especially for about $15 a burger. It was a great tasting burger and exactly what I was looking for late on a Saturday night. “We eat there at least twice a month. Service is hit or miss. ALWAYS call ahead and get on the wait list (online). I've seen people actually leave angry because it appears that others just arrived and they're seated while parties who've waited for 30 minutes aren't seated. It seems the remedy would be to at least tell them about the wait-list so they can add themselves or let Longhorn manually add them to the wait list. The service is usually pretty good although they can be forgetful if they're busy. I suggest getting your order down pat first and try not to add on new things. And if your waiter/waitress isn't writing it down, be prepared to be disappointed. The food is the reason we keep coming back. I can't remember a time that the food itself wasn't above average. We've had wings missing from an order but the wings we got were perfect. One of the few places where a well done steak isn't tough. They can even put a little char on the salmon without bringing you a pink hockey puck.

Parking: During their busy hours, good luck in finding someone backing out of their space. Sometimes we park in the shopping center next door.“
