“If visiting in winter, be aware that there are only like 8 indoor seats so you either hope to get lucky or get takeout. The arepa itself (not even talking about the toppings) is outstanding. The portion is generous so one order of arepa is enough for a meal (for me at least). Tasty nonalcoholic drink options.“

“If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I took my husband here for his birthday dinner last night, & we definitely felt like we had a culinary experience! The drinks we spectacular & affordable. We did the chef tasting for dinner, & the staff made it like telling a story through food. Our server Jesse G was so personable, animated, made great recommendations, & very attentive to us the entire meal. Okay, so just about the food. We are total foodies, especially on a vacation/for a special occasion like this. We loved unqiue, tasty foods, & occasionally enjoy a more fine dining experience. Our meal at Ukiah was that & more! It was served in 10 small plate courses. They spaced each dish, timed them perfectly, & each dish built on the last in such a way that was truly amazing. Just when we thought the last one was our favorite, the next one was as good or better. The vanilla, almond, coconut cake with house ice cream finisher almost wrecked me lol! I could have licked the plate clean, but I was honestly too full to commit that hard. Every staff member that brought us a dish, refilled our drinks, cleared our table, etc were so friendly. Jesse (funny enough, also my husband's name & same spelling) was one of the best waiter's we've had, but also the kind of person you just want to be friends with after you eat & go hang out at the bar or something. It is definitely a higher end restaurant, but for the experience & service, it is well worth the money! We hope to return some day for sure!“

If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.

Do glad we did. \n\nThey were quite full/busy but they fit us in and were very kind and gracious about it. \n\nThe entire experience was special. About four different staff members checked on us throughout our evening. \n\nTheir knowledge of the menu was incredible, and especially their very extensive wine list. \n\nWe started with their “Darling” bread and butter. Absolutely amazing. I would have been happy with just that. \n\nTheir offerings of different locally grown greens was amazing. \n\nWe had the lamb kebabs and rabbit pasta for our main. “The Sierra Nevada brewery is awesome! First off the facility is absolutely fantastic. It’s large but the building and the entire campus are immaculately clean & well kept. It still looks brand new. The tour itself was excellent providing great historical content & insight into their state of the art current operations. Following up the tour with a visit to the Taproom restaurant is a must. The food is phenomenal & the service is top notch. Finally, it was so enjoyable to finish the day with a beer on the patio. I give the Sierra Nevada brewery tour & Taproom my highest recommendation. Can’t wait to take other friends for a visit.“

“Every time we’re in town this is our go to spot. Shredded selections and Brisket yum! Meats r In some sort of marinated vinegar process, don’t even use added sauces it’s perfect alone! Favorite spot to sit at is the bar area where Ian provides wonderful service! The mustard based potato salad side and hush puppies a great addition. “We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. “December 30th, 2025: We had the most nice experience, and it was all thanks to our server! A group of 7 of us went out for very late lunch lunch, but it became dinner, and experience is above, and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. The staff was so kind, respectful, and attentive, checking on us frequently and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic—but what truly made the evening unforgettable was staff. The place brought such positive energy and made our entire group feel so well cared for. If I could rate 4+ stars, I would. We had 2 Cuban Sandwiches, comes with chips, we also shared a Mac&Cheese between my wife, and me; Our two daughters shared 1 pot roast, a brisket with mac&cheese; our grand son had the ribeye steak, my son in law had a steak sandwich, my granddaughter had chicken tenders with french fries! The brewery was easy to get to, had lots of parking & there was a small local band playing when I arrived. Sky was my very friendly bartender. I asked for a beer suggestion than was on the lighter side. He suggested the Cowboy Poet. He was spot on. I also ordered food from the pizza place. Was really delicious. “This is my favorite brewery in Asheville. We fell in love with this brewery their first time we visited. Beers are creative and dark beers so delicious. And the food is to die for. Last evening Steak Po-Boy is simply the best we have ever had! Absolutely gourmet food in this brewery. We consider this as our dinner place and not just a brewery. This is THE must visit brewery for all our visitors. The venue is casual with quirky spots and many different hangout areas. We have huddled with friends in the winter months under shelter, enjoy music in the lower zone, hang out in the rooftop areas or just in the many tables around. We like the sister Forestry Camp too.“
