“We ate here day before yesterday for a late lunch and it was so good we went back tonight for dinner. The other day he had a Cuban and the fries and I had a grilled sandwich with granny smith apples and cheese and a Brownie Surprise drizzled with raspberry. The place's decor reminds me of a combo of the 70's and a beach/ocean vibe, the era when we grew up. It's a cute place and the waitresses were sweethearts both times.”

“This is a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. The service was amazing…very friendly and Welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, hot, and fresh. Now the wait for the food was a little long but when you taste the food you will know why. I did not get the cooks name, but he made this food with so much love and care. The customer service from the person who greeted us to our waitress that served us was great…..This is a place to stop if you ever traveling in the Carolina’s. “What a wonderful neighborhood gathering place! The self-serve beer pouring wall is brilliant! Their selection of beers, wines and cocktails is very good. Pizzas, starters and salads are fresh and excellent! I’ve been there twice this week and will definitely be back. I highly recommend the craft beers, food and friendly staff. A jewel in Corolla!”

“we went in the winter, so our experience may be different from the summer peak crowd, but service was friendly, food fell short (my husband liked his meal, but none of us liked the nachos— we ended up throwing away more than half of them which we NEVER do, and the shrimp tacos were fine but maybe the least tasty I’ve ever had (edible but basic, it was just shrimp with lettuce, cheese, and salsa) , and the lettuce in the Caesar salad was warm and limp, not cold and crisp, which was a bummer for $8 or whatever it cost for a little salad).

That said— restaurants are extremely limited in the off season so it was busy and they did a good job keeping up with the crowds and the food was edible but disappointing for everyone except my husband. It was $100 for 1 salad, 1 appetizer, 2 meals, and a soda and we’ve had much better food for a lot less— this was the only meal we ate out and we left feeling disappointed.”
