Food was on point and service was great. Was greeted and sat where we wanted. Everything about the visit was top notch. We thanked them as we left and said we definitely will be back.“

“I have been coming here for awhile as I love my server Deb, and Juliet. However, even after coming sometimes every Friday to meet family and friends for a meal out, tonight is the last time. My last 3 visit you can hear the owner yelling at the staff very disrespectful through out the restraunt. Tonight was the worst ever cussing the staff, even in Italian some people do know such foul language. It was to the point that I did not finish my dinner, nor did those dining with me, we wanted our check and to get as far away from there. I will truly miss Deb and Juliet however I can not justify spending my hard earn money for such a terrible experience.“

“WOW! My boyfriend and I recently moved into the area and decided to try out sals a few weeks ago. At that time we got a buffalo chicken pizza & a Hawaiian pizza. Today we decided to try them again and got a margarita pizza, Stromboli, and antipasto salad. Our order was QUICKLY finished and tastes absolutely delicious. Sal is very personable and extremely talented in the kitchen. Our favorite pizzeria by far.“

“I ordered from the hungry Howie's in Dallas North Carolina and the food is always good there only had one little problem when you order from there and they're using doordash make sure the door – drivers can read a receipt they went and delivered my food to the wrong place but the manager there at the hungry Howie's Renee was a very good person she got on the phone with them even though they hung up on her and after I called her back she herself brought my order to me so I am thanking her and f and praising hungry Howie's for having her there so at any time if you order anything from anywhere and you're using doordash make sure they can read my ticket had my phone number on it and I ordered from a motel which had my room number on it yet they delivered it to a house instead of finding out if that was me there or calling me this is twice it has happened through doordash so before warned if you ordered through doordash make sure they can read and follow directions“

“We absolutely love Portofino’s Gastonia...We usually eat in their restaurant but I was recently in the Hospital and was wanting their Spaghetti so We opted for take out and they did not disappoint bc it was a huge portion of Spaghetti and stuffed Shells as well as a nice healthy salad..The food was so hot and fresh..Thank you“

“Was there for lunch today and they were slammed with people. A large group of students showed us. The manager and staff were non-stop getting the pizzas out and taking care of everyone. They definitely deserve some positive recognition.“

They accidentally forgot the pizza slice for our toddler, and they ended up giving him a free 10in instead. I can’t emphasize enough how kind and caring these people were! “Ordered a bunch of Pizza‘s for a work meeting Saturday and the girl that was there was by herself literally doing pizzas, answering the phone , dealing with customers , and had the best attitude super high-level customer service. I was so impressed. I know it’s hard to get staff to come in and work , and maybe someone was on a break or didn’t make it in, but to go in and juggle it all with a super great attitude was incredible.“

The staff is so friendly and every time you go to pick up the pizza in person they open up the pizza box and make you look at it and ask you is this to your liking and I always say oh yes that looks and smells delicious! And if you go frequently they give you this laminated yellow coupon that is good for a really big discount on the next pizza and you bring that coupon back in and they deducted right off your bill.“

“Staff is super slow and unhelpful except one girl- Dashia who was super sweet and trying to rush around making everyone happy. Meanwhile everyone else couldn't be bothered to keep their attention on customers. They just walk around in a daze. Please someone get Dashia some real help! Pizza is always good though!“

Definitely the largest I've had in the area, and I've tried just about all the restaurants around.They have a large menu, which coupled with delivery, is amazing. I can't get enough. There is also an ample dining room capable of holding about 34 people, so great for the family.“

“My mother delivers catering for this location, and today I took the risk of asking for a little extra kindness for her today as she is in bed sick like she's never been before. I ordered via doordash, spoke with the manager, and explained her predicament and she knew exactly who I was talking about. Admittedly, I didn't ask for anything specific aside from taking extra care of her order. They went above and beyond by upgrading her order from two soups to adding a drink, salad, and a cinnamon roll, as well as a small note to get well soon.
