“K&M has the best seafood, delicious dishes, friendly atmosphere and amazing specials. I highly recommend the crab rangoons as an app. Blackened shrimp fajitas are heaven, the andouille PoBoy is scrumptious, Crab Cakes are amazing, hands down the best crab legs in town. They have daily specials and I haven’t had anything I don’t like. The owners are truly genuine and so kind. It’s our favorite place to eat in town.“

“Nice beer selection. Allowed us to taste before buying. The chicken tenders were over cooked but still good. Fried Brussels sprouts were really good. Filled up very quick after dark. Beer cheese is basically Mexican Queso. Definitely recommend. Burger was great. Wings were cooked well, crispy, and meaty. Cajun fries were run of the mill, but still really good. Overall I would recommend to couples for a date night or a family needing a quick bite. It has a hometown vibe and I’m glad we stumbled upon it.“

“By far, some of the best wings you can get. Philly Cheese steak was very good. Service was fantastic. Booth seats need a little padding to make them a bit comfortable.“

“We had two signature items from the menu that we have had many times. Not up to par this time (9-21-22). French onion soup was like warm. Mediterranean appetizer over browned. Italian pasta salad needed more oil and grated cheese. The added tofu was practically burnt and flavorless.“

“Before this visit, I had only been to a Cookout location once, and that experience wasn’t great. However, this visit completely changed my perspective on Cookout for the better. I was hungry, and since there aren’t many dining options in the city, my friend suggested we give it a try. At first, I was hesitant because of my previous bad experience at a different location, but I decided to keep an open mind and go for it.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (cheddar style), chicken nuggets, and a walking taco as a side, paired with a lemonade. The lemonade was forgettable—I honestly can’t recall what it tasted like—but the food was much better than I expected.
If I were rating Cookout solely on my past visit to a different location, I would’ve never gone back. But this particular location made a full 360° turnaround for me. The food was good enough that I’ll definitely consider ordering from Cookout again.
The chicken sandwich was moist, packed with a decent amount of toppings, and overall delicious. My only minor complaint was that the freshness caused the bun to get a little soggy, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The chicken nuggets were fresh, hot, and flavorful—though I wish the portion size had been a bit larger for my liking. As for the walking taco, it was tasty but could’ve been even better with a few more toppings. It primarily consisted of jalapeños, meat, cheese, and chips; a little more variety would’ve elevated it.
We went through the drive-thru, which was fairly packed, but despite the long line, we received our food pretty quickly. While waiting, I peeked inside the restaurant, and it looked clean and well-maintained. The staff working the drive-thru were polite, professional, and friendly, which added to the positive experience.
If you’ve tried Cookout before and weren’t impressed, I’d recommend giving this location a shot. It’s a solid spot in the area, with good food and service. While there’s still some room for improvement, I can confidently see myself returning or recommending it to others.“

“We had dinner here while visiting family in the area. The place looks nice & inviting. We chose to sit inside as the evening was a little cool. It was rather busy, tables all around us were full of ppl eating various plates of food. I noticed a table to our left & our right both had a very creamy & delicious looking Mac & cheese. I searched the menu & saw there were 2 options for Mac & cheese. One was under the kids menu section & the other was on the regular menu but with lobster, called Lobster Mac & cheese, it was $15. I thought of wow they must load the Mac & cheese with lobster for that price. I asked our waitress when she returned to take our order if the size of the Lobster mac & cheese was the same size as the ones on either table to our left or right? She looked at the table on one side of us & confirmed it was indeed the same portion size, so I then asked if it would have enough lobster in it for that price. She said that she thought it was a good portion of lobster in the Mac & cheese. So we ordered our plates & I ordered the lobster Mac & cheese. I sat there enjoying our conversation practically salivating thinking about the creamy delicious lobster Mac & cheese. When our food came out it didn't all come at once but was staggered, as the first items were brought out before the Mac & cheese, I was distracted by the other entree's when it was delivered. Well boy was I ever disappointed in what they actually delivered to our table as lobster Mac & cheese. Firstly it did not look anything like the creamy delicious looking Mac & cheese that I had pointed out to our server earlier. It was not creamy or cheesy like the other. It wasn't even the same pasta, it was relatively dry & had seasoning & onions in it & 3 teeny tiny little pieces of lobster set on top in the middle. I am not usually one to complain, but this was inedible for myself because it was full of onions, which was something I had asked the waitress about in another dish before ordering & would have thought she would have explained that the kids Mac & cheese was Not the same as the lobster Mac & cheese & also made me aware that the lobster Mac & cheese included onions. When she finally returned to our table I attempted to get her to just remove it from our bill as I wasn't going to eat it. She told me it wasn't in their policy to remove the lobster Mac & cheese from the bill & acted like she wouldn't even go ask a manager about it. I asked if I could have her remove the lobster Mac & cheese from the table & replace it with what I had actually wanted & pointed to at the other tables earlier. She finally left to I assume ask & then a couple minutes later she returned & said she was sorry but they would Not remove it from the bill or replace it with the kids Mac & cheese either! We paid our bill & I again looked at the menu on our way out to confirm that it did not describe the lobster Mac & cheese as a different pasta, having seasoning & onions in it. It did Not! First they should clearly describe the lobster Mac & cheese in the menu & secondly they should Not expect customers to pay for something they absolutely will Not eat because of hidden ingredients in their meal. This place put a bad taste in our mouth & we will Not be back while visiting family again.“

“I don't recommend going to sylva waffle house around midnight. I had just left my brother's house and was traveling home when I saw a homeless guy walking. I stopped and gave them a ride so the guy could warm up. I let him out near the waffle house and continued home, when I realized the guy left his tobogen. I returned to the area where I last saw him and heard that he was close to waffle house, so I go in there. there's the cook, which acted kind and professional, a customer & the waitress. the waitress was very nice to me until she learned that I was looking for this homeless guy to give him his hat back. she began to frown and changed her whole demeaner. I am male and have long hair and had been wearing a hat earlier. I didn't realize it at the moment but my hair was messed up some. the waitress just got a blank stare on her face and for the most part was being rude and then reminded me that the guy wasn't there.kind of prompting me to leave . the cook spoke up and said, "I think he wants to order."had she not been avoiding me she would've seen that I had a menu in my hand, reading it. I decided not to order and just go home and eat. when I went outside,to get in my car either the cook or the rude waitress pushed her car lock remote causing the horn to sound as if to make sure I didn't steal something. it's funny how people judge others negatively because you look different or you tried to help someone out. if I had the power, I would fire that waitress on the spot. very disturbing. sad part about it is that my coat was worth more than she made in a week. yet she treats me like I'm some kind of vagabond. not only did that happen Saturday 14, Jan. she wouldn't even answer the phone. there was one customer in the store when I tried to contact them by phone if you can't be nice and considerate while doing a job like that, you have no business working there“
