“Got off work early today and called my husband to call in our order and I was going to pick it up leaving from the school so he calls me with the call merge and said that he’s been on hold for 10mins I’m in route with him on the phone I pulls in with him still on the phone and I purposely asked them what was their number none of them knew so she say google it then in the process she goes and gets her phone and have the number it was the same number my husband called so I told her that now by this time my husband has been on hold for 20 mins she says points at the phone and says no one is on that phone mind you I’m still hearing them from my end so she says where’s the other phone she goes to the kitchen and gets the other phone and all of a sudden it hangs up which she did it and says no one's on the phone I guess not you hung up and Lied about it for what she say oh yes I’m sorry about that no you going to lie instead for what for what and we both know you hung the phone up with him still on there“
“Finally!! After almost more than 2 years in Gastonia, I found the BEST Mexican restaurant!! Authentic Mexican food! Great flavor, great service, great atmosphere, great prices. Their chori pollo was outstanding as were their steak fajitas!! Can't believe it took us this long to find Taxco!!“
“When I come here, Jorge always makes me feel like I'm part of the family. When I don't know what to order, he suggests something I wouldn't have chosen myself, and it's always great! If you go to Azteca, ask for Jorge to be your server!?!“
“I don’t eat much here but when I do the food always surprises me!They have the best rice, and agua de piña! Oh and the tamales are phenomenal! I love how they added pineapple to my fajitas, usually when I ask elsewhere they won’t do it! And the employees are sweet and attentive, the place is cute as well! Will be back for fajitas!“
“The service and cleanliness of Viva Tequis was exceptional. This is definitely an establishment I will return to. My only small gripe would be the food was a bit bland. And I really hate leaving negative reviews.We started with Southwest Guacamole and chips. It was definitely fresh. I got 3 street tacos (barbacoa, tinga chicken, and a black bean and cactus) -- the black bean and cactus was VERY good and probably the only one that tasted like something. I believe they have a salsa bar, if you get the tacos, get salsa with it.My partner got the chicken and rice soup, if I was rating on the soup alone 5 stars, all the way, in fact, I'll probably get that next time I go. Highly recommend the soup!“
“You can tell this food is made with love. And the ladies that run it treat you like family. I love going out to the gas house(Gastonia) so I can stop by Mamacitas! My favorites are the carne asada tacos, chicken burrito, chicken torta, and the churros ?? but I actually love everything here so much! I normally get the same thing every time I go anywhere else but I have tried something different every time for no reason other than being curious and REALLY enjoyed EVERYTHING I have tried! If you like to have some Horchata in your fridge every now and then I highly recommend it from here too!Vegetarian options: Everything can be vegetarian, just ask for no meat!Parking: Look for a large red food truck inside of a fenced in parking lot!Kid-friendliness: There are items that kids love on the menu!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to the food truck.“
“This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants! They are always on top of keeping your drinks, chips, and salsa refilled! Their serving staff is always awesome!Vegetarian options: They have a specific area dedicated to vegetarian dishes.Kid-friendliness: Their kid menu has a rather large selection considering this is a Mexican restaurant.“
“I was hungry so I did technically start eating a little before the photos. My bad.This place has some of the best décor around. Ornate wood at booths and chairs.Carne Asada was very good and cooked to order. I went medium but a portion was bit medium rare. I will shoot for medium well next time to gauge. Rest of this plates breakdown: Beans are a little runny but taste good. Rice was a little on the dryer side than I am used to but not bad. The pickled medley was tasty. I only eat small portions of the jalapeno but it was good as well. Guacamole was good too.Side note. Guacamole as App states they make it at your table which I will be trying next time for sure.Super Nachos with beef and queso style cheese. See pics. Wife thought it was good.Salsa was good and had heartier chunks of onion etcQueso was runny buy very good. I personally would like it with a little more pepper chunks in it but we share with a small kid.Note: $60.00 w/o tip (Large Queso, kids cheese Quesadilla w/ R/B, Super Nachos w/ beef, Quesadilla, Carne Asada and 2 Dos Equis)“
“Great authentic restaurant. Service is good. Food is yummy and comes out quickly. One of my local favorites. I'm not a fan of getting it for take out because they use the styrofoam containers with hot food. So it melts. But other than that, food is so good.“
“Absolutely fantastic, the quality of the food was just phenomenal. The staff were incredibly kind and not overbearing. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Hispanic food. There not afraid of spicy either.Wheelchair accessibility: Double wide doors and slanted sidewalk for easy access to anyone who has additional needs or trouble walking.“
“We heard about this place from some complete strangers. Love how friendly people are in NC. The food here is so authentic. We knew it was a good sign when the place was packed and nearly everyone was speaking Spanish! We got a variety of tacos and can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.“
“It's a little dead inside but My fiance and I stopped in there for the lunch buffet and margaritas. The waiter was nice he did a great job for his first job and the drinks were good. I would go back. I also bought the fried fish and it was so good I'll order that again “
“They have the best food added with the best customer service makes it one of the best places to eat! The corn is AMAZING! The chicken quesadilla is so fresh and flavorful. The Thursday nachos are fresh and packed with toppings and flavor! Do yourself a favor and go get some FLAVOR!“
