“I had a fantastic experience at Sushioki in Durham, NC! We tried the spicy tuna burrito and the HoeDeopBap burrito, and both were absolutely delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The service was excellent — the staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. “We placed a catering order with Peony for a work meeting for 14 people. We did it through EZ Cater. We are so pleased! Everything was correct, the food was labeled, everyone really enjoyed their selections. Peony even accommodated the special requests that were written in for a couple of the orders. Our order was ready promptly and they automatically included the extra sauces, condiments, crunchy toppings, utensils (including chopsticks), and threw in a couple complimentary half gallons of sweet tea. The staff was so nice, they helped me get everything into my car.

We allowed our staff to choose between the Office Kitchen Lunch and the Office Sushi Lunch - the prices are seriously affordable for such good food and for the generous portion sizes. Our all-in price per person was under $15/pp (that's with food, taxes, tip). We will definitely order from here again and highly recommend it!“

“Everything is pretty generic here. A really great place to come to if you're hungry and you know what you like. I don't recommend the Miso 👀 not to great... the sushi is good and so is the hibachi (they do give you small portions of rice so just order extra if you want extra 😋) overall I fo really like it here. Me and my boyfriend plan to come here again. The prices are good for what you get. Keep in mind this place usually stays busy so there may just about always be soem sort of wait time.“

“A part of my order was not delivered, although I ordered on their direct website. when I called to ask for a refund, I was told that they would not do so because they are only responsible for making the food. Noone offered to contact the driver service to rectify. Instead, when I mentioned that I could only choose to not use the restaurant again, I was laughed at. Very unfortunate. I used to greatly enjoy this location. UPDATE: The restaurant reached out, apologized, and are doing what they can to make it right. I appreciate the follow up, and I totally will go back. The food is good, and they are one of the few places in that part of Durham that isn't a chain.“

“Moved to Durham in December 2023 and have been trying lots of restaurants in the area. This Chinese buffet is definitely a place I have come back to and recommend. Good prices for all the food you can get and friendly staff with a family friendly atmosphere. Food has always been good since I’ve been coming with a wide variety. Can be pretty busy on Sundays.“

“I will say that I can be a bit of a Hibachi snob, as it's one of my favorite foods, so I was a bit hesitant about eating hibachi that isn't cooked directly in front of me.

This is the first time that I've ordered take-out for hibachi buuuuuut it was excellent!! I ordered the Shrimp and Steak and it was delicious!

The pre-packaged yum-yum and ginger sauces (they standardly provide 2 yy and 1 ginger) were also unexpectedly amazing and they complimented the meal perfectly. The portions were also generous, as they completely covered my to go box.

I will DEFINITELY be revisiting this hidden gem the next time I had to Raleigh! I've found a new favorite!“
