“While trying to find a spot for lunch on New Year's Eve, we decided to eat here since the menu had a lot of variety. Actually eating there was great - the restaurant was cozy and we sat by the wood burning fireplace. The proprietress was so friendly and had a fun conversation about her father and Greece. Food was generously portioned and very tasty. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back.“

“Me and my wife are here at cornerstone restaurant today and the food was absolutely delicious again the spaghetti and the meatballs, the Snickers cheesecake and Claire our waitress. She was a diamond for sure. Great personality. Fast response brought our food out very quickly and everything was A+plus would like to give her a big shout out. Even if the food was bad ! We would come back because of her .“

“Had dinner with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our meals. Tuna nachos, pork belly and wings were very tasty to start the meal. The main dishes we had included the brick chicken, shrimp and grits and smash burger. We cleaned our plates…great flavors and taste! We would DEFINITELY go back!“

“Great experience!! Our server Tara was super sweet and attentive! My boyfriend had the ribs with Mac and cheese. The ribs came smothered with the classic bbq sauce he reported they were tender and tasty the Mac was everything you want in a Mac and cheese, creamy and cheesy!! I ordered the salad bar which was full of variety and the potato salad they had is one of the best I’ve had in a while! The manager miss Mandy came and checked in on our table and was very personable! Can’t wait to come back soon!!“

“We love our outings to Creekside - Georgia loves the chicken and fries and I had buffalo wings this time which I really enjoyed. I usually get the salad with smoked chicken and its my all time favorite. The staff are great and the atmosphere is cozy. So if you are looking for a great place to eat, with a good atmosphere and great eats - Creekside is my favorite place in East Asheville.“

“When you walk up to this snack bar in the foothills of Black Mountain, you just don't know what you're in for... It looks like a typical place with typical food, but it is not... It is fun and it is friendly and it is fabulous!! We got the Foothills Burger and the Carolina Dog with a basket of fries. We asked for the burger and dog cut in half to share. I don't know what kind of hot dog that was, but it was so good!! The casing snaps when you bite into it and the toppings, holy cow!! YUM! Then, onto the burger! It had a slight crunch on the edges that were heavenly!! It was so, so tasty!! The fries were perfectly fried, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and complete salty goodness!! I will drive the 1 1/2 hours just to get this same exact meal all over again!!! Take the trip, make the drive, get the food!! You won't regret it!!“

“We did not eat bc i went in to purchase salt and pepper shakers. I usually buy about 12 plus pairs. I was disappointed bc there were lots of new ones but no pairs! I did get 5 pairs this time. I also felt like the atmosphere was much more calmer than when the battle over the logo was going on lol!“

“Yes recommended, BUT… We are just a couple of locals who have enjoyed coming here periodically since they opened to support local food and beverage and to see the changes as they happen. We stopped in today and it was the worst experience we’ve had there. We were just stopping in for a drink at the bar and since there was a seat available for us, didn’t think it would be an imposition. Not only were we made to feel imposing at the door without a reservation (not required YET for the bar), but after being greeted by the bartender with “be with you in a moment”, no one ever again so much as looked at us for 20 more minutes. Watching the obviously flustered and untrained BT look at a recipe card to make Moscow mules for people who arrived after us, we decided it was best to just call it a night. I’m sure we’ll give them another try, at some point, but just be aware if you’re not staying at the hotel you may have issues. Disappointing, given the considerable investment the owner has and continues to make in this venture.“

“Small and quaint; clean and calm old school place, a house turned into a Tavern. The staff was friendly. We did not eat so cannot rate the food but what food was prepared smelled delicious, we had a soda from a can.
We were able to play pool without interruptions. The pool table is coin operated.“

“Had the fried chicken sandwich with the serano honey (on the side - it's spicy) . Chicken was perfect...juicy and tender, breading was crunchy and very flavorful. Ordered the side of crunchy potatoes. They were great! Lovely server (Ann?) sorry not sure of name). Very nice Sunday brunch location.“

Bought 4 flat iron steaks, & a quart of beef bone broth.

One of the butchers, Meg helped me and is super sweet and kind. Upon request, she offered recommendations on how to prepare & cook flank steaks.

“Tommy the Manager as well as the staff were amazing, we signed up for the eClub program where you get a free appetizer with purchase of an entree & the code wasn’t going to come on time, unfortunately we wouldn’t be in the area long enough to be able use the code but he still allowed us to use it, big Shout out to Tommy and everyone at LongHorn. “I just had a hot dog from there and, at best, it was a "5". Bun was kind of hard. Cole Slaw was OK, but not what I expected. I prefer an all-beef hot dog, vs pork, which I don't think one is offered at French Fries. I prefer French Fries, as I live close by, but the drive to Hendersonville, and Hot Dog World, and an all-beef frank is a solid '10". French Fries, fries, are better when you get them fresh, but that doesn't always happen. I would recommend the ownership &/or management visit Hot World. Price at Hot Dog World is a nickel cheaper, too. They also offer a footlong, and a hot dog two to three times bigger than their conventional hot dog. Best of Luck.“

“This location completed some renovations and it’s 100% nicer than it was a few years ago. I was here around 6 pm on a Thursday, after a stressful work day…I just wanted pancakes, and they now offer gluten friendly ones! I got the big breakfast, which was the best breakfast I have in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly. My server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!“

“We stopped by there today on Christmas and they were opening at 3! so we waited 15 more mins it was 2:45 then. When I tell you we had the food and dining experience at the bar. The young lady working was awesome happy friendly and full of energy. Thank you for opening today to feed others and leave your home and family. “Longhorn restaurants never let us down. We visited this restaurant, on mothers day evening, travelling from U.K. and were welcomed by our server, Kevin. He went above and beyond with his exceptional service and kept us entertained with his tales of British music artists. Nothing was to much trouble for him.
