“While trying to find a spot for lunch on New Year's Eve, we decided to eat here since the menu had a lot of variety. Actually eating there was great - the restaurant was cozy and we sat by the wood burning fireplace. The proprietress was so friendly and had a fun conversation about her father and Greece. Food was generously portioned and very tasty. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back.“

“This is such a hidden gem and its amazing!! My wife had their Goat cheese smashburgers with pickled onions and lemon aruglua and it melts in your mouth...i had their Chicken entree which was soooooo good you cant go wrong trust me every bite so juicy good quauilty food...my mother in-law had their French dip which you can see is very good size portions. I havent even got to tell you all the Duck spring rolls🦆are a Must...by the time you all read this we already been back there ....enjoy!!!“

“My husband ordered the 1/2 pound burger, perfectly cooked, and was glad to have the option of having a salad for the side instead of fries. I had a salad with chicken (grilled, just right), full of carrots, avocado; both meals were simply delicious! Great service and outside dining was a treat for a cool night dinner. Glad the hotel provided us with a list of local restaurants and we selected The Trailhead Restaurant & Bar!“

“We love our outings to Creekside - Georgia loves the chicken and fries and I had buffalo wings this time which I really enjoyed. I usually get the salad with smoked chicken and its my all time favorite. The staff are great and the atmosphere is cozy. So if you are looking for a great place to eat, with a good atmosphere and great eats - Creekside is my favorite place in East Asheville.“

“When you walk up to this snack bar in the foothills of Black Mountain, you just don't know what you're in for... It looks like a typical place with typical food, but it is not... It is fun and it is friendly and it is fabulous!! We got the Foothills Burger and the Carolina Dog with a basket of fries. We asked for the burger and dog cut in half to share. I don't know what kind of hot dog that was, but it was so good!! The casing snaps when you bite into it and the toppings, holy cow!! YUM! Then, onto the burger! It had a slight crunch on the edges that were heavenly!! It was so, so tasty!! The fries were perfectly fried, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and complete salty goodness!! I will drive the 1 1/2 hours just to get this same exact meal all over again!!! Take the trip, make the drive, get the food!! You won't regret it!!“

“Great experience!! Our server Tara was super sweet and attentive! My boyfriend had the ribs with Mac and cheese. The ribs came smothered with the classic bbq sauce he reported they were tender and tasty the Mac was everything you want in a Mac and cheese, creamy and cheesy!! I ordered the salad bar which was full of variety and the potato salad they had is one of the best I’ve had in a while! The manager miss Mandy came and checked in on our table and was very personable! Can’t wait to come back soon!!“

“Longhorn is our go-to place for event / celebration dining, we've never had a bad meal there. Went for my 70th birthday, and everything was perfect. The manager Braxton gave me a special glass of wine, and a voucher for a free appetizer / dessert (we were too stuffed to have dessert there that night!). David provided great service to us, and was very friendly. Looking forward to our next meal there.“

“The Cheshire Arms just opened in the village of Cheshire in Black Mountain. It’s a British Pub with a stellar menu accommodating vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options as well as a wide variety of beers, cocktails, and wines. Prepare to be pleased! It’s in the old Black Bear Tavern building at 10 Market Street.“

“I just had a hot dog from there and, at best, it was a "5". Bun was kind of hard. Cole Slaw was OK, but not what I expected. I prefer an all-beef hot dog, vs pork, which I don't think one is offered at French Fries. I prefer French Fries, as I live close by, but the drive to Hendersonville, and Hot Dog World, and an all-beef frank is a solid '10". French Fries, fries, are better when you get them fresh, but that doesn't always happen. I would recommend the ownership &/or management visit Hot World. Price at Hot Dog World is a nickel cheaper, too. They also offer a footlong, and a hot dog two to three times bigger than their conventional hot dog. Best of Luck.“

“Small and quaint; clean and calm old school place, a house turned into a Tavern. The staff was friendly. We did not eat so cannot rate the food but what food was prepared smelled delicious, we had a soda from a can.
We were able to play pool without interruptions. The pool table is coin operated.“

I was here around 6 pm on a Thursday, after a stressful work day…I just wanted pancakes, and they now offer gluten friendly ones! “Busy place!! We're servers 1st off, so we understand. We ordered steaks, duh. Filet and ribeye. (MR) Came out blue rare. Sent them back and got same steaks, flashed and now rare. We decided to eat them because we were starving... Poor form for a "steakhouse". Everything else was GREAT, including our waitress!! (Who we tipped 20+% Not her fault you have someone who can't cook meat.) Lol. I recommend the filet. Tasty even rare!!“

“This IHOP restaurant was one of the cleanest I have seen in quite a while. The noise level was very very low and the atmosphere was overall very cheerful. Alex was my server and she was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. She kept my coffee pot full and brought my food out in the very timely manner. The food was very delicious. I will definitely be going back there again.“

Burger was good, some new items on the menu and most importantly, they seemed to be staffed somewhat as the entire restaurant was open.“
