“My children and I have started going here after soccer in the morning sometimes and the staff that work breakfast, the tall guy who speaks on the intercom for orders is so pleasant as he Greets you and asks for your order. Always happy which is rare to find these days. I complimented him this morning and went back again for chili dogs and told a different guy how kind he was, as well, only to find out he was the manager. So I gave this guy a shout out to his boss without knowing!

“Update 10-2024 The drive thru line is literally the most efficient/fast fast food line I've ever seen. The line can be out to the road and I've been thru in 10 minutes. My orders are almost always perfectly made, at the right temperature, and flavorful, even when they are large group orders.
10-2018 As always, great service, food exactly as expected. Noisy with lots of little kids having fun, but again - that's what's expected. Best of the best of fast food chains. They can clear a massive queue in the drive-thru line in no time flat, and the curbside pickup with the app is awesome“

“I stopped by this Zaxby’s after a few months away, and overall the experience was still reliably good. The food quality has remained consistent across my visits — my order was correct, served at the right temperature, and presented well, which is something I’ve come to expect from this location. The staff continues to be polite and professional. I wouldn’t call the service exceptional, but it’s consistently acceptable, and everyone stays busy and engaged in their work.

The restaurant was clean throughout my visit. I was there for over an hour catching up with a friend, and the drink station stayed clean the entire time. I also noticed team members wiping down tables whenever they weren’t taking orders, which is always a good sign of solid day‑to‑day upkeep.

There have been a few changes since my last visit. The drive‑thru setup outside has been improved, and traffic flows much better now. Parking has also been adjusted so cars in the drive‑thru aren’t blocking people trying to park. Inside, the seating area has been reworked and brightened up with fresh paint, giving it a nicer overall feel. The only downside was noticing a few cosmetic shortcuts — the booth I sat near had old holes and anchors that were simply painted over instead of properly patched. That feels more like an issue with whoever handled the remodel rather than Zaxby’s itself, but it did stand out. I was also disappointed to see that the Coke Freestyle machine is no longer at the drink station, since that was always a nice perk.

Even with those small misses, this is still a good place to grab a meal and catch up with friends, and I’ll definitely be back again soon.“

“Went thru drive thru. Super long wait. Food was thrown together as per usual. How hard is it to spread the toppings out inside of in a lump in the middle? Twice ordered onion rings and twice they were undercooked. Drive thru staff are NEVER friendly. Take money, give food, repeat. I've tried to engage with some humor, but most walk away, some look at me like I have 3 heads. I know most have their faces in technology, but a little human interaction is not a bad thing... especially if you work with humans.“

“Great Subway location in Wake Forest with really friendly service. I stopped in around 12:30 PM on a weekday and was greeted almost immediately, which made the experience feel welcoming right away.

There was a small line, but it moved quickly. The ingredients looked fresh, well stocked, and exactly how you’d expect from a good Subway. The team took their time making each sandwich, asking about toppings instead of rushing through the process.

The cashier was polite, thanked me for coming in, and the staff stayed busy even when things slowed down. The dining area, drink station, and even the men’s room were all clean and well maintained.

“I this team crushes it. was here on a Friday around 5:15 and they were steadily busy. Not too many people in line but obviously several online orders. Every single person in there was working their tails off, in a good rhythm with their orders, cranking out subs and everything still looked clean and organized. They were helpful and diligent—and kind! As I sat there waiting for my order (I was early), I was genuinely impressed to the point where I started writing this then and there :)“

She answered all my questions I had and provided me with excellent service and food. The service was so great I went back again on 11/1/24 which was the next morning.“
