“I’ve been coming to Danji for the past six years, and I love it; it feels homey. Like any home, though, there are good days and bad days. Some days the banchan is excellent, other days less so. Stews can be wonderfully rich, but occasionally a bit watery.

I give Danji 4 stars because when it’s good, it’s really good. On the days it’s off, it only feels that way because I know how amazing it can be. In comparison to Seoul Garden up the street, Danji’s “bad” is still Seoul Garden’s “good,” and Danji is far more authentic.

The owners are always very sweet, especially the lady. My friends and I love that our water comes in cute little mugs. Service could be a bit more attentive, with more frequent refills, but the calm, chill vibe makes it feel okay compared to fast-paced restaurants.

I highly recommend the Gamjatang, Seafood Soondubu Jjigae, Ojingeo Bokkeum, Japchae, and Samgyetang. I’ve been eating here long enough to remember the old prices, and while there was a menu increase when the owners returned from Korea, it’s understandable in today’s economy. The price hike hurts a bit for Japchae, so my regular orders are usually Soondubu, Gamjatang, and Ojingeo Bokkeum when I feel like splurging.“

“Absolutely amazing I went back for my second time had a few cold ones with the beef bulgogi it was incredible the first time there I tried the spicy wings since woow those were delicious I recommend asking for extra sauce SOOO GOOD!“

“If you're looking for some good food that is cheap, I recommend coming here. I've been coming here since I was a Freshman at A&T and I've never been disappointed with my food. I like how their menu has a variety food ranging from American-styled to Hibachi but it's worth the money and the owner is always nice as well.“
