“Service here is very friendly but not necessarily the most attentive. Had to ask for water refills and salt. My son enjoyed his shrimp and grits. I got the scallops and the scallops were cooked perfectly. However, the dish definitely could have had more flavor and it needed salt. My Old Fashioned was great. The ambiance could be excellent here but we were sat near what turned into a very loud birthday party that screeched every time a new lady arrived, which made it extremely hard to carry on a conversation. We passed on dessert after the last screech fest. I’m all about having fun but if you’re going to act like you’re in a sports bar, hold your event there, or match the atmosphere and be respectful of other patrons. Someone working at the restaurant really should have said something.“

After returning home and eating our order, I then came down with food poisoning. I have dogs that can followed directions better than anyone working in this place.“

“We have ordered delivery twice now. I am so glad we found them on food delivery sites. This is the first restaurant that has taken the time to call me about a special request I made on the app Uber Eats to make sure they got it right. We live out in the sticks so the food was warm when it arrived but we expected that. It reheated really well in the oven. The food was DELICIOUS and the portions were huge. The baby shrimp, scallops, trout, and flounder were crispy and well seasoned. Loved the stuffed crab. Price wise, it's a deal. We will definitely keep Tides Inn on our rotation.“

“Found this place by accident while waiting on my Dad at the VA. Me and my sister love a diner and local joint, so we had no second thoughts. We loved it!! The pancakes 🥞 were delicious 😋. They reminded us of when our mom used to make those buttery pancakes with the crispy edges. (Yummy). Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be going back.“

“Great service, chicken wings were awesome, but the #7 burger was not a smash burger as advertised. The burger was huge and no crispy edges like a real smash burger. The chips were too thick and not fried hard like chips should be. Other than those two flaws the place could easily be 5 stars, but just my opinion.“

“I ordered the beef lo mein, and as the store name implies, it "taste good".
I called in my order and arrived about 10 mins after, I was quoted an oddly specific time of 7 mins. However, when I arrived I waited about 10 more mins for the food. That being said, it was fresh so I'm not complaining.
The lobby isn't what you would call inviting or necessarily clean. The menu is old printed paper with typos but they also have the classic menu at the counter. See attached pics.
They do try to distract you from the 90 health rating with a decoration hanging in front of it.“

“Shrimp was fresh and battered in house. The real deal y'all. I'm from the coast and this is a-1 seafood. Very laid back environment with great music. Shoot pool while you enjoy some delicious mixed drinks or an ice cold beer. The owner was amazing and so very friendly. I would definitely recommend 100 times over!“

“I had door dashed my order....nice flavor and good portions especially with the shrimp. Usually in a combination plate get 4 to 5 shrimps and i received 6 to 8. I ordered the hibachi steak, shrimp, and chicken. Shrimp was slightly over cooked but still good, chicken and steak was just fine. Steak was med-well as requested. Also order the hibachi salmon with shrimp added. Again shrimp was a tad bit over cooked and salmon was too, but again it was still good. Just get the correct seafood cook times. Will order from here again...“
