“I think Smithfield’s is highly underrated. Where else can you get the same quality food as fast and at this price point? It’s a tough find.

My girlfriend and I can split a Combo-dark and be FULL for $13.

The pork is solid. (Honestly better than a lot of the mom & pop bbq joints around these days charging double) The fried chicken is crispy and tender, the Brunswick stew is like a veggie with a bonus side of meat, and I love their old-school shoestring fries. The hush puppies are a little on the sweet side for my taste but they are consistent and well cooked.

Add to that the crazy good service and it’s a no-brainer. They bring refills to the table and take the plates when you are done. Real food, faster than McDonalds, with almost diner level service, still at fast food prices (or better depending on the fast food). What’s not to like?“

“Thank you to the amazing young guys working yesterday! I was in the drive thru and realized I only had a credit card that wasn’t activated yet.🫣 My son was several vehicles up and on a zoom meeting in the drive thru. I said, “that’s my son up there in the big blue truck he will pay for me!” Thanks for being so nice to my crazy self and allowing my son to pay for me!🤣“

“I just wanted to say Phoebel, Timothy, and Sharon were very delightful and helpful. They treated me so nicely, and I just want to say that I really appreciate that. These three greeted me and were extremely sweet, ensuring that my order was prepared correctly. Sharon gave me a complimentary drink on my way, which was really sweet. Timothy ensured that my order was correct throughout, and he didn’t have an attitude or anything. Phoebel had the sweetest smile and made sure to greet me upon my entrance as well. She, along with the other two, made me feel very comfortable to be there. I just want to say I hope God continues to bless people like that, and I want you guys to know that I really appreciate how sweet you were, continue to be the people you are, because we really need that in the world.

Just fyi I left a review on the mobile app as well and I wanted to add that Timothy was great. I said he didn't give an attitude or anything, but I wanted to add because the way he went over and beyond for my order is really commendable.“

“I went there for the honey bbq chicken. I also saw they had gizzards and liver, so I wanted to try that too. I order gizzards but quickly realized I ordered the wrong ones bc I don’t like the crunchy texture. I went back and asked if I could changed them to liver and they were very understanding. They made me fresh liver and it was AMAZING! I haven’t had fried liver that tasted that great in a while. I really appreciate the manager and staff there and I definitely recommend coming to this location for fresh food, quick service, and a friendly atmosphere. Top tier kfc location!“

“They pay very close attention to detail everytime if you ask for 5 extra sauces they will put at least 5 vs some other places give you less. I’ve just always had a consistent good experience at this location !! Thank you to the staff keep doin what’s you’re doing“

“I really love me some spicy HOT chicken. And so I’m thrilled to find a Dave’s Hot in Raleigh to sate my fix. Love the service especially from the cashiers who work the front when it comes to getting me the food in a clean and efficient manner. Kia has been a constant cashier who always gives me create customer service as a regular. Chicken is spiced the way it should, fries are crispy and the speciality shakes are fantastic.“

“This Zaxbys is one of the few fast food restaurant in Clayton that seems to care about their customers and getting orders right. Ive ordered delivery many times and my order always arrives fast and most importantly, correct - no missing items except for maybe occasional missing sauces. I appreciate the service here and the food is addictive. Their employees are friendly and helpful and actually answer the phone when you call with questions. I will probably only order delivery from here from now on.“
