“I like to hit up their lunch special because the price is right, and it fills me up with leftovers for dinner. The lady who's usually there remembers me and my order of Kungpao Chicken lunch special with no celery! Always a friendly face when I'm there, good prices with delicious food, and I love their cheese wonton too!“

“The OG of Chinese hole in the wall restaurants. Not a place where you’ll find orange-sauced chicken nuggets but an obvious neighborhood favorite judging from the continual to-go traffic. We enjoyed generous portions of chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. One star withheld for greasy egg rolls. The egg drop soup lacked flavor (to me) but the egg was very tender. The atmosphere was lacking but the prices make up for it; $16 each for our meals plus counter tip.“

General Tso 6.7/10
Good flavor and a nice heat level. White meat chicken with a bit of broccoli, and the rice tasted solid. Could’ve been crunchier.

Boneless spareribs 6.9/10
Super tasty and really tender. Fresh, not too fatty, and the flavor was right on. Easily one of the better ones around.

Crab rangoons 4.4/10
The filling tasted great. The shell just didn’t get crispy, so it came off kind of soft instead of crunchy.“

“I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, and it was my parent’s first date spot after immigrating years ago. They have always been consistent with the food quality and their efforts to maintain cleanliness and care are noticeable, even if the area around the restaurant is a little sketchy. The restaurant owner talks about how he’s seen me grow up, and my parents talk about they’ve seen his son grow up. It’s obvious the owner cares about his customers. I’ve moved out to college in UNCC now, but even in my dinky apartment over 100 miles away I crave Wang’s kitchen.“

“Restaurant is under new management and I can't tell you how much of a needed and positive change this is. They've remodeled the inside and their new menu is great. Food is fresh and very good and the new management is super friendly.“

“Everest kitchen has stepped up their original game and brought back freshly made, authentic Indian food to Wendell. Any amount of minutes is definitely worth the wait for a table here, especially since the same friendly faces are now running the show. Being as busy as they are, they always take the time to make sure it's a comfortable wait, so have a drink at the bar! The phenomenal Samoa's come out hot and fresh and well complimented by the house made red dipping sauce. I thoroughly enjoy the heavier presence of basil and excellent balance of spices. The PANEER TIKKA MASALA or Chicken Tikka Masala are still the stars of the show in my book. Cheers!“

“Went there for the first time on 2/14/2025. Ordered take-out from the dinner menu. Had the combination Hunan Chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, crab Rangoon, & hot & sour soup. The flavors were all great!!! There is only one set back I want to mention…. “The Lo Mein” is not my preferred dish & will not order it ever again. The noodles were spaghetti noodles & does not do any justice to the dish. I was told my order was will be ready in 30 mins (I know it’s an estimate) but I got there 30 mins later & waited an additional 30 + mins….

Parking: I couldn’t find the place cause their lights were off. The parking was hard to get in & out due to heavy traffic (went around 6pm).“

“My favorite Chinese restaurant to eat at and order take out. I have been a customers of theirs since they were in the North Ridge Shopping center. There food is always fresh and delicious!! It's hard for me to eat at any other Chinese restaurants since I love their food so much. Oh! Their buffet is inexpensive and absolutely delicious!!“

“This is a family owned and operated business. They are trying very hard to please people, but some people can NOT be pleased. Everyone here is very kind, and the food is very good. Service is above standard. I have read comments on how some people don't "like" this food. That is an individual opinion. Please don't leave bad comments about the entire store just because YOU don't personally like the taste. That has NOTHING to do with anything. As far as the child (I read another comment about a child misbehaving), so it's OK for customers to bring unruly children to a restaurant, but not ok for a restaurant owners' young child to have a bad day? “The food is always fresh I live way on the other end now in the back but I go out my way just to go to this Chinese restaurant because it's very good and clean.

Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of things there are kid-friendly and they also offer small portions for children also.

Parking: They have other stores there and also food Lion supermarket so you have plenty of parking free.

“The place does not disappoint, the food is fire, and it has become my go-to Chinese takeout spot. The food is made to order so if come out hot and fresh. It’s not greasy, really flavorful and well seasoned. The chicken is always juicy yet crispy. “I was skeptical about going here so to the bad reviews but it was 2 minutes from my house. Seems like a family owned and run restaurant with children there helping and doing their homework. I ordered the Szechuan chicken with white rice and triple delight with white rice from the house special section and then 2 shrimp egg rolls. I personally thought it was good for fast food Chinese food and also had chicken wings with house special fried rice. I would go back again.“
