“I have been looking for a hibachi place that competes with the one from my hometown, and I went to FIVE different places before I finally found this one. I came 2 days ago after work because I wanted to try it but they were closed due to a gas leak, no problem. I came back today and it was so good and the service was nice, they give you 2 containers of sauce. Definitely will come back and I’ve already told my friends about it.Parking: There were a good amount of spaces, it’s a hidden gem so there is always multiple spots“
“The food here is excellent. We have been here at least 5-10 times over the past few years and they have always been consistently good. Sometimes we get sushi, other times hibachi plates, and sometimes a bento box. Everything is really well done and especially for the price. They have also worked to accommodate us sitting outside on a few occasions when they were short staffed, which is much appreciated. The only two reasons I am giving 4 stars is that they do seem to be short staffed a lot, and they do tend to have their outside tables shut down a lot as well. When it's 70 degrees outside on a perfect day with blue skies, it's hard to justify sitting inside where it's comparatively much louder. We don't mind sitting inside but they do have tall ceilings that echo a bit and make it louder during busy periods. That being said, these are relatively minor points and we'll definitely be coming back again. They also do a good job with take out, which we have done a few times.“
“I gotta say, I was blown away by Sushi Iwa in Clayton. Since I moved from California, I've been on the hunt for that top-notch sushi experience I thought I left behind. And wow, did I find it here! Chef Junior is a rockstar – his rolls are out of this world. They brought me right back to Cali with every bite. Not only were the rolls amazing, but they also had fresh wasabi root. I mean, fresh! I was totally not expecting that, and it was such a cool surprise. It took the whole sushi game up another notch. Chef Junior’s talent is obvious; he's putting out some seriously delicious art on a plate. And the vibe in there? So chill and friendly, just what you want when you’re about to dive into some serious sushi. So yeah, if you’re looking for that California sushi bar feel with some seriously mind-blowing tastes, hit up Sushi Iwa. You won't be disappointed. Junior and the team are serving up some serious magic. Can’t wait to go back!“
“I absolutely love this place!! The atmosphere is amazing. There Friday night karaoke is a fun date night idea. Their sushi is so delicious, always fresh and made by order. The seafood bags are great potions and bussing. I love their seagate sauce in my seafood boil bag, and there is seagate sauce they put on the wings that's a perfect blend of sweet and salty.“
“Super clean store. Very good for eating in. Employees very helpful. Would suggest that you use wonton-type chips for the nachos instead of the tortilla chips which are not a good fit for poke. Also, could we get a smaller bowl with just one protein-- like child's size?“
“The atmosphere is incredible! The crunchy mofongo became one of my favorite dishes ? Alejandra was my server, her attention was 10/10. If you want to have a good time with your friends, it's the ideal place, and even more so if the DJ is there??“
“Amazing restaurant. Red Bowl has never failed me before and I've been a frequent customer. Every sushi roll here tastes amazing and none of them are bad. The service is always amazing also and the atmosphere is just amazing and I always feel welcome there. Amazing restaurant with even better food.“
“Food was ok. Best part of our dining experience was our chef. He was great and so much fun! There was 9 in our group and we were all laughing and having a good time. I wish I could remember his name.Dietary restrictions: They switched the zucchini to broccoli for me since I'm allergic“
“It was way too cold to eat inside. We ate in the car since home is too far away. I had the deep fried roll, don't remember the name. My son had the rainbow roll. It was so delicious, some of the best sushi we've had in quite a while. We also had a side of fried rice which was pretty darn good. I got two piece spring roll as well but I'm too full to even try them.“
“I had a hankering for some Pho and found this place. I got the IPHO pho with beef brisket, tendon, and all the fixings and then an order of the spicy beef lemongrass. Both were delicious! I love that it was hefty amount of food to accompany the broth being that I ordered in. I will definitely be back to try their sushi because it looks like it'll be equally as good!“
