“Had the Santa Fe wrap with vinegar slaw while they were at Biggers Market today and the food was delicious. But their vinegar slaw was the best slaw I have ever eaten. What ever was used to make this was spot on. Not too vinegary and a tad kick to it. I could have eaten an entire bowl of it.“

Some of these 1 star reviews are dishonest and don't tell the full story with people recording things and threatening the owner also refusing to leave, yelling making a scene and making everybody uncomfortable. He is very fair.“

“It’s been a long time since we’ve eaten at PT’s in Magnolia Greens. They have new ownership since our last visit, and it was noticeable. The staff was friendly and efficient, the restaurant & bathrooms were clean and our burger and fries were excellent! The place was busy for this Memorial Day weekend, but we were served well. Best burgers in town!“

“Applebee's used to be a favorite for us in the 80s and 90s when we lived up north. It was predictable and we always left satisfied. After a horrible experience in Conway, SC last month, we decided never to patronize Applebee's again. Then we saw a TV advertisement for the current Two for $25 promotion. Friends in Stafford VA enjoyed the meal at their local Applebee's and shared their decent chain restaurant experience. We were convinced to give Applebee's another chance. We now live in Georgetown County SC, and we were definitely not going to Conway. We Googled and found Leland to be our next closest location. We had the afternoon totally free, so we ventured north on 31 and 17 to Leland, and we were so pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and seated by a smiling hostess. Our amazing waitress, Beth, came over to introduce herself and take our drink order; unsweetened ice tea and water with lime and lemon slices. She returned with drinks and answered all of our questions on the special and offered garlic green beans as a substitute for broccoli. We both ordered the special skillet 6 oz steak over garlic mashed potatoes with green beans. Our appetizer was our first try on boneless wings. Beth brought the wings quickly and we are them with a knife and fork. They were essentially just decent quality chicken nuggets with garlic and shaved Parmesan, yet filling and delicious. Beth brought our main course and refilled our drinks. She came back to check if all was prepared well. Both of us were full halfway through our meals, and Beth cheerfully brought us take out containers, and to-go cups for new drinks. That will be a good Saturday breakfast! Beth, and the Leland Applebee's has renewed our faith in corporate chain eateries. We usually patronize local places at the beach, and love a high end experience often as well. Beth's expertise may lead her into a more sophisticated setting. I can see her doing well at a Morton's or a Ruth's Chris, or any of the finer restaurants along the Atlantic coast.
