“We were around the area for a few days and picked different dinners each night and chose seafood yesterday. When you see the owner carrying out food and answering questions then you know he is invested. He has a great personality as well as the other employees. Great food, Great atmosphere. Highly recommend ! Red snapper and shrimp were YUM!“

“We eat here frequently. The food is delicious. Various choices and prepared as requested. This was a birthday celebration. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Because it was a special occasion, we brought a special dessert. Our server brought us additional plates, a lighter to light the birthday candle, and forks for those of us who forgot to keep one. This is one of the best restaurants in Winston Salem.“

“Was there last night we come a lot but only one problem we came to drink and they have no draft beer because they say it broke it been broke over 4 months why isn’t it fix yet this hurt business cause a lot of people like to drink and the bottle beer is more expensive and you don’t get your money worth with bottle when you get draft you feel you are please get it fixed so we can come enjoy a cold one“

“30 min wait the 40 min wait on food. cooks can't even come into to work. Only half full and still a wait out the door. Half the drinks out. Running out of food so you half to pick what they have left. I would not recommend this place and I will never come back here.“

“Stumbled upon this place in Reynolda Village and what a find. The food is outstanding! I had the Greek salad with grilled salmon; it was perfectly dressed and every bite was full of flavor including the grilled salmon with perfect char. Delicious! And raspberry sorbet for dessert because why not!?!
I was seated at the busy bar during Sunday brunch in front of the kitchen window. The entire staff, from bar tenders, servers, chefs, management etc, are all happy and respectful towards one another. The vibe of the staff says everything about the restaurant…almost as important as the food. It was busy to say the least but all staff were getting the hard work done and joking along the way. Refreshing to see.
I highly recommend this restaurant and have already been back during my short stay here. Their outdoor seating area is quite large too if it’s not too hot & humid out.“

“We hosted our wedding dinner in this fabulous place. Maria was wonderful helping us all the way with the menu. Drinks, appetizers and more. Our servers were polite, attentive, friendly and professional, the food was amazing and the drinks were to die for! “Love LJS! We only have this one near us. They were having some difficulty with their computer system when we were there. So we had a bit of a wait, and some waited longer than us. I truly love this place and WANT it to do well so it's not closed like the one in our town. But, LJS or the owner of this particular restaurant needs to give it some attention. The outside needs the area spruced up. The inside fairly well, but the cabinet door where ketchup and condiments were stored was hanging by 1 hinge. The employees were slow but focused on the orders on the system that had gone down. Glad to have this store, just want to keep it open.“

“Only Chinese food I eat. It is the best. Maybe reviews that are over 6 months old should be removed. I am a very frequent customer and won't get Chinese food from anywhere else.Edit: Still the best. Moved back to Winston Salem and this is the only place I get my Chinese food.“
