“Who doesn't love a Restaraunt that you can ride up in a boat to the dock, tie off, grab a table, and enjoy the view. What a treat. This was our first visit to this establishment. Our expectations were high. As we walked down the dock checking out the other boats tied off along the way we could hear laughter and good music. (Be mindful of any loose boards) We were greeted as soon as we walked up and seated at an 8 top right on the deck viewing the lake. The menu had a lot of appealing items to select from. A majority of them being fried seafood fair. The prices were reasonable for the selection as well. The six of us all ordered something different. I had the Firecracker Shrimp (huge!), my wire ordered the crab cakes (disappointing due to more filler than crab at $22 for two), son had the 8oz burger (he loved it), tenders for the little guy, my uncle ordered the alligator bites which they were out of so he picked the catfish nuggets, and my aunt got the chicken nachos. The portions were rather large. Down to stars. I'm on the fence between 3 or 4 for these reasons. We arrived around 2:30pm and probably waited just over an hour for our food. The little ones were restless and cranky. The food was decent with the exception of the crab cakes. Servers were overwhelmed somewhat due to customers sharing stories from what I could gather from nearby tables. People are chatty when the mixed beverages are flowing. However, I love the experience, vibe, and the view. So 4 it is for this trip. You should check them out. I would definitely like to come back. It was really fun and I can only expect that place to get crazier as the summer goes on. Side note: If you order water, there is a $0.95 charge. Also there is a membership discount, but I don't know what that entails.“

“I left without dinner last night because prime rib sold out, no crab legs available and everything else on menu was fried which was the last thing I wanted to eat. I will try again as the prime rib there is good, but that was their second strike so hopefully next time will be better again.“
“I live 5 minutes from this restaurant since 06/10/2023 and have come to The Pointe during peak season. It were ok at that time. People complain about the price but seafood especially on a water view restaurant isn’t cheap. Not anywhere in the entire country. Please name a decent place if I’m wrong. Today 12/08/2023 at 8:45pm exactly my brother and I had ordered The Pointe Tacos and the Chimichanga Steak Wrap knowing it were 15 minutes before they were about to close the kitchen and probably had already cleaned everything, both meals were exceptionally good. I thank the chef at that exact date and time. I apologize that we came in so late but both of those meals proved that you put your effort into them. Your chef needs a raise!“
