“We went here last night for dinner,they were extremely busy i guess it being friday and all but we got seated fadt and i think out waitress name was Amanda, she was very polite to me and my family. she kept all our glasses on full which is an A+ with me. “What a great find! We live down in Greenville SC, but happened to be in the area doing some shopping. I found this place based on reviews online and it did NOT disappoint!!! This is easily the best BBQ we have ever had. The smell hits you first thing when you walk in. The service was great. The food was phenomenal. We will absolutely be returning! Highly recommend.“

“This place has been here since I was a little girl!! The homemade cherry lemon Sundrop is great and the special bbq slaw is the best! They are a family owned business that has been here for years. If you’re a local you know. Thy are always nothing but nice and courteous, so I’m not sure why there are some bad reviews, it is definitely not a fancy place but the food is great!!“

“SO GOOD!! I wanted ribs tonight and Shane’s Ribs did not disappoint! The half rack was perfect. The baked beans and green beans and garlic toast were great! We have been trying various places since moving back to NC and Shane’s is a new favorite. We brought some peach cobbler home for later and it was delish!! “A little expensive but worth it is what I used to say but the latest experience was "OKish" at best. Fries was bland and a little burnt, minced BBQ sandwich was extremely soggy and thrown together without any thought of appearance with meat and slaw all over the top side of the bun. The cherry lemon sundrop tasted like carbonated lemon soda water with no cherries in it at all. The curb side service was depressing and lazy. Expects a tip but forgot the straws and ketchup and rolls her eyes when asked for that and 8 of the 14 dollars in change due back. What happened to this place?“

“This place is a legendary cornerstone of the south gastonia culture if u wana know how it was done from the 50s til now u will instantly walk in and wish ur grandpaw was still alive to eat one more liver mush egg and cheese but that isnt reality but then when u step back into reality u and ur son are eating a small town culinary masterpiece and are instantly enthralled in the atmosphere and have done spent 45 mins looking at all the pictures of families thru time that are literally made on the table top then u realise oh wow the service and people are the most down home hospitable people especially the ladies and bo so please at least, once come here and have this staple of southern living!“

“Visiting Greenville recently, we had an excellent experience at Logan’s . It was Friday evening. We were seated quickly and they took initial drink and appetizer orders shortly after. They also provided a huge basket of delicious rolls. I gave the service 5stars because they stopped by frequently, but not enough to be intrusive. They took our order, and brought the check very timely, and refilled drinks without being asked. They did not offer information regarding the menu., but I did not deduct. The atmosphere was fine, no complaints, just typical steak house., similar to chain restaurants. During our trip it was relaxing and quiet. Parking and access were not an issue. The menu and food is very similar to Texas Roadhouse. Everyone’s meal was well prepared. At the TR in our area it tends to be somewhat hit or miss. The steak was truly med as requested, and the ribs were juicy and flavorful for me., although another person in our party was less impressed - not bad, but they might be on the bland side for some. The salad was unremarkable. So I did take one star off on food - very good, but not outstanding for all items. Could be 4.5. Also considering value, portions were good size, but the food prices were similar to TR in a higher cost area. There is a kids menu but I did not pay enough attention to comment on it. Based on our experience I definitely recommend Logan’s if you are looking for a no-hassles steak house meal with very good food and excellent service.“

“Great location by outlets , staff was great , great service and food , started with stuffed mushrooms, wanted a good hamburger and Longhorn came through, way better than Outback’s burger with a lot of flavor and cooked perfect , better quality meat, had the seafood soup as side, very good as well, bone in ribeye is one of my favs, hope to be back soon, only downside is no rewards program or discount like Outback and others , hope they add one soon, great atmosphere, 5 stars for best burger and bone in ribeye in the area !“
