All the beans. This meal….when I tell you it brought me back to sitting at my grandmas on a weekend long forgotten, I mean it. This meal transported me through time. My grandma is no longer with me, and to feel connected again after many years…I’m now a loyal customer. The gravy was so flavorful, the beef tips had just the right amount of char and the green beans were fantastic!!My partner got the half BBQ chicken with French fries, mashed potatoes and cornbread. There was nothing left on his plate. I will say the hush puppies were better than the cornbread in my opinion, but I’m a hush puppy lover.Give this place a shot. It’s worth it!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space and I saw coloring and reading books below the hostess stand!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and the entry way is wide. The doors are not automatic but definitely wide and accessible.“
“We visited twice prior to using facility last night for an event. Everything was perfect. Appetizers of fried broccoli, toast points with pimento cheese were delicious. The event space was nearly perfect. The only small issue we had was acoustics in the meeting room. Service was very good and timely. Brian the bartender was awesome and get the wine glasses full. I highly recommend Noble Smoke for the food and service.“
“Am I pushing it to give a place five stars? Yes. I should really go 4.5. What I can say is that this is not only the best BBQ is Gaston County, it ranks near the top in the State of North Carolina. I eat BBQ across the country, and this is worthy of mention anywhere.Meats are nicely smoked, and moist, the sides are great. So far I've only had brisket and pork, both were outstanding. I go for Greens and baked beans always, and they are good here; but would like to try other items. You can get banana pudding as a side.Banana Pudding... Theirs is good maybe 3.5-4.I'm very picky about banana pudding. I always get some if available - a BBQ restaurant is judged by this - , and I make banana pudding also. They could up their banana pudding to move their overall rating to a solid 5-Star. I liked it slightly thicker, creamer... I like Nilla WaffersI'll post pictures later. “My husband and I drive a hour just to eat here. It's our favorite place to eat BBQ. Food is excellent every time. Service is always great. We had Melissa tonight and she went above and beyond for us. Best waitress we've had anywhere in a long time. Next time we go back, I'll be looking for her. So if you want some great BBQ, chicken or brisket with all the fixing. The smoke pit is definitely your place. The portion are very generous. Go stop in and let Melissa or any of the other servers take care of you. We always leave happy and full.“
“McKoy's just made our night after missing a connecting flight home out of CLT. It was on a list of restaurants that our hotel gave us. The hotel needs to put an asterisk next to it. “The food has been prepared fresh each time I come here. The staff are friendly and the wings and fries are amazing! I’ve tried the hot honey wings and spicy teriyaki and both were sauced well and unique in taste compared to other popular wing spots. Much better actually! Maybe made in-house? The sauce does not taste generic and the texture of the wings are always perfect. The prices and wait times are not bad either. There is a smoke shop attached with equally friendly and helpful staff. He took his time assisting me with my questions and went above and beyond to find answers if he was unsure. I always try to stop by when I’m in the area and will return and suggest your business to others.“

“I ordered a half chicken without any sauce on it to see how it tasted by itself. This place has really good, deep, smokey flavored chicken. They put grill marks on it right before serving it, and it gives the perfect texture pop you're looking for with crunchy skin. The seasoning was precisely balanced and allowed for the true taste of the chicken to come through. The meat simply fell off the bones, and I didn't have to worry about any hassle getting to any of the meat.I also ordered the fried okra, Cole slaw, and a side salad. The okra was fantastic!! Unfortunately, the Cole slaw was too bland for me and had too much sauce. It needed to be thinned out with some sweet white vinegar or a little sugar and white vinegar. It was just bland and too rich from the mayo. The sald itself was good once I dumped the cheese from it. The lettuce leaves were crisp. There was only a small bit of wilted leaves in the mix. They rotate the salad enough so you know you're getting fresh.The floors were spotless, but there was a but of stickiness to them when you walked, so you hear your foot peel off the floor. They could use a good deep clean, but that's just oil buildup after years of fried foods. The tables were neat and cleaned as well. They were only ever so lightly dusted with oil.The young lady at the register was kind and smiled, which is nice to have when you're ordering. The manager was involved and made sure everything was good.Overall, it was a pleasurable experience, and if you're looking for some smoked chicken for a reasonable price, this is a good place. I spent under $20 and had three sides with the half chicken. Drinks are too expensive anywhere anymore. Water is fine by me.“

“I stopped by Hillbillies for the first time I'm several months. I got home and noticed I didn't get the extra bbq sauce I ordered. I was busy so I didn't bother to call them back. The next day my wife and I both had plenty left over so I called and asked if I could get the two bbq sauces that they missed. I was fully expecting them to say they would have to charge me again which would have been perfectly fine as I really should have called the same day. To my surprise, they said sure just come through the drive through. That is the little extra service that goes a long way for me. They always have good food so I would have been back regardless but this experience makes it more likely that I will return a lot sooner.“

They are always greeting you once you walk through the door, serving you with a smile, getting to know you on a personal level, always filling up your drinks, and any other assistance. “Great experience. The team members were all nice. I did have an issue with my lamb chops coming out cold , but there were also others dining with me, and they did not have that issue. When I brought it up. They immediately fixed the issue and when my plate returned, it was hot, and the food was so good. I'd definitely be back.“
“Miss Sha was probably the best server we’ve ever experienced in any restaurant. EVER! She was so kind, knew what we needed before we even had to ask, the location was clearly understaffed and she had many tables to take care of but she checked in frequently. We ended up getting an app, lunch, drinks and dessert. There is a longhorn 5 min from us but i would much rather drive the 20+ min to go to this location if i knew Sha would be working. 10/10“
